Today is actually my Friday. We took tomorrow off, since my mom is staying late to watch the squishy guy, so we can go out to dinner for our anniversary ALONE tonight!! I am so looking forward to it.
Though tomorrow is probably going to be crazy with cleaning, decluttering, and probably taking a bunch of stuff to my parent's house, because I *think* we are trying to list our house on Monday...
I'm WFH today, once again waiting for my furniture delivery that didn't make it here Friday.
My BFF is in town from Bogota this weekend and she wants to meet T. Which is totally fine and will be fun, but I just don't want anyone to read anything into it. LOL We're not dating other people, but there's been no "define the relationship" talk, no bf/gf bs, no "feelings"...just how I want it. For example, he went to his old hometown for a friend's bday and told me they were up late catching up, etc. He goes, "and we talked about you...I was like, yeeeah, she's ok." SO PERFECT. hahaha
Thanks everyone! Interview went well, I think. However there were 3 interviewers and they were hard to read. At the end they said they were hoping to make a decision very soon and said "I know you have to give your employer 2 weeks-" but I don't think "you" was actually directed towards me specifically. I feel relieved it's over, and I'm back at work, but now I'm trying not to stress about what to do about job #1 (the offer is pending and I have to decide today).
@kjewell do nothing this weekend. DO NOT PUT ON PANTS.
darkling_glory, I know that's what I should do but if job #2 does offer me something I am torn up about calling job #1 and saying "JUST KIDDING!" (can I just do it via email? what's the best approach to this?)
Also, I don't know how much I really want job #1. It's farther than I would like to travel. *sigh* I'm just being whiney and I know that.
If you do get job 2, call up job 1 and apologize very sincerely but let them know that you are unable to accept the job they offered you. It will suck, but it has to happen.
Also, it is far, but think about how miserable you've been working two jobs. I tripled my commute at new job, but I don't regret it.
I am seriously more organized now than at any point in the last...12?...years. The plastic drawer thing (x2) was what I had for a dresser for the last year, and when I lived w S, I basically just piled things on chairs in the 2nd bedroom and hung some things in the closet. lol All my makeup stuff is organized on my desk, all my clothes have a home, and I'm using the plastic things for towels and blankets. This feels SO GOOD.

thanks for the encouragement darkling_glory! I should stay positive because if I do end up at job #1, I was really happy about it right after I interviewed so I just need to keep thinking about all the good (like not having a 3:41am alarm on my phone anymore!!)
