If you were to have something named after you, what you want it to be?
There are roads, cities, places (performance art centers and athletic fields come to mind), drinks/food (the Arnold Palmer, anyone?), medical or scientific discoveries, parks, and all sorts of things that adopt a person's name even before their death in a lot of cases. I was just curious if you have some sort of legendary accomplishment or status and had a choice, what would you want to be named after you?
This comes from my random curiosity about a prison unit that I pass by daily that is named after someone and I got to thinking that a prison wasn't an ideal choice for how I would want my name to be remembered. Then I did a Wikipedia search for that prison name and found out it was a former DA and had served on the state's Criminal Justice Board for many years, so I guess that sounds about right for him.
We even have a Millie Bush Park (dog park) named after former Pres-Bush Sr.'s old dog, lol.
I think for me (who will never have any sort of public importance more than likely, haha): A) a Nutella and toffee swirl ice cream would be cool (channeling the Cherry Garcia type name-link), or B) a strain of smokeables would be hilarious and make me feel honored (one that preferably does not induce mad-munchies but just gives you the mellow, relaxed effects).
Or why not both... I mean one could lead you to the other.
A major case that gets referenced all the time-- something related to civil rights. e.g. Brown vs. Board of Ed or Roe vs. Wade. I am neither a lawyer nor a politician and I hope to never be embattled in a major court case, so there is next to no chance of this, lol.
And [obviously] a cocktail. Something with vodka in it.

Hm, I'm thinking something either art related (a theatre or venue) or a place related to assistance/help/aid (like a homeless or women's shelter) would make me happiest.

I can't think hypothetically, so I'm going to steal Tree's because it might actually happen. Assuming our future plans pan out the way we're hoping, H and I will establish a scholarship at our alma mater, and I would like to use both my married name and my maiden name. Both of my siblings, bro's wife, and H and I (obviously) graduated there and we all (with the exception of SIL) had to work through college. Since that's the type of person I want to get the scholarship, I find it appropriate to honor those closest to me who had to work 25+ hours a week on top of going to school full time.
