In general, I have a large white stuffed bear that is in bed with us. I'm a side sleeper and I found that the bear seems to hold less heat than a pillow when I shove it under the top arm to support my rib cage from collapsing. Her official name is "Christmas Bear" as I got her for Christmas and she has a fancy little capelet (that is removed). However, she is usually called "Chaperone Bear," so dubbed by H back when we were dating and she often somehow ended up in bed between us.
I have to have a thin blanket over my eyes. I used to use my baby blankets (no names) but they became too threadbare and being so precious, I switched to these two long light flannal wraps my mom made me.
I still have my baby blanket. My husband wants to throw it away, but he knows if he does? I will probably never forgive him.
Screw not forgiving him, that there is divorce worthy at the least and possibly justifiable homicide.
my brother's little wifey threw away his security "item" (it's an old worn out pillow case) when they first moved in together. she didn't know, and just saw old, gray, rags and threw it out. i think it's hilarious. this is the one and only plus i have for her.

Lately yes. It's either a stuffed snow leopard DH got me from the Woodland Park Zoo (Isaac) and a stuffed dog that looks like my IL's rottweiler (Mini Murphy.)
And our cat sleeps on my side of the bed at the end.
I sleep with a stuffed bunny H gave me like 6 years ago, and before that I slept with a different stuffed animal. My H sleeps with a pillow in his arms, and it always has to be between us (he gets too hot if we're skin-to-skin) so I call it the barricade.
yep I've got a stuffed bear that (ready for it?) and ex gave me about 7 years ago. He has no sentimental value whatsoever, but he's got a really floppy neck and a big belly so he fits perfectly in the crook of my arm, and since I'm a side/stomach sleeper I need something to rest my arm on. His name is Frankie. If I could find a pillow that was able to be as squishy as he is, I would trade the pillow out, but I have yet to find something that's the right size.
