Hey MM! I mostly lurk over here, but wanted to post this.
I love the EC planners, but wanted the layout to be very specific. I love playing around with Publisher and designing random stuff, so I played around with it for a while.
It's pretty easy to do and I'm happy to send people the Microsoft Publisher file if you want to mess around with it for your own planner.
This is how it came out... (I have to post the pictures individually.)

If you've PM'd me so far, I've sent the files to you. I'm taking tonight off from training and enjoying being lazy on the couch and watching TV, so I'm around for a quick turnaround time.
What kind of cover are you going to use and what kind of binding will you get done?? Looks great!
Thanks! I think I'm going to get the cover printed on heavier cardstock with a plastic cover over it. I'll also get the heavier cardstock and plastic cover on the back as well. I'm planning on getting it spiral bound. I teach at a local college and we have a printing/binding office right on campus that will do things for personal use too, so I'm going to go through them. It should cost less than $20 from what I can remember from getting my lab manuals printed this way.
I was just going to ask how you planned to assemble it. I need to look into the spiral bound thing. I also work on a college campus, I wonder if they offer that service.
I'm a teacher and I've made my own plan book for the past 3 years and it's about $5 to have a book made with a clear cover, a thick, vinyl backing with a coil binding at Office Max.
I run all of the copies, line everything up, use colored cardstock to divide the various sections, and then bring the whole thing in for them to bind. I've had to leave it sometimes, but they've also been able to do it within 10 minutes.

Nice! That sounds exactly like how I was planning on doing it. Good to know.
Now I am trying to come up w/ colors/designs that match each other, but don't match. If that makes sense.
The first version I made looked like a rainbow threw up. This one is much better and much more me. Just play around with it for a while. You'll find something you like!
