Can anyone recommend slippers that are easily packable (preferably in some sort of bag or sleeve/washable/sturdy enough that they'll last a while (they do not need to be suitable for outdoors or anything like that -- will only be worn in hotel rooms -- but I'm looking for something that won't self-destruct 4 weeks from now). I have slippers that I love for home so I'm really just looking for something compact for travel. I'm someone who hates walking barefoot even on the cushiest and cleanest of floors, but those aren't what I'm always encountering nowadays
I have to travel with slippers too, because for some reason hotel carpet sucks the moisture out of my feet.
I either do my regular flip flops, chenille slipper socks, or a sort of slipper ballet flat (like this, but the cheap Target brands, which hold up well for about a year or so, until the foot bed liner starts to pull around my toes and that gets uncomfortable).

I travel with a pair of Isotoner ballerina slippers I've had for years. They're practically indestructible. I use them in hotels, on the long trans-Pacific flights, and they have even been used for star-gazing at night on (public) decks on cruise ships.
If you get yourself to a country with an Etam (they have stores in Italy, France, Spain & Portugal, probably other places), they have decent ones with a little bag to store them in and weren't very expensive. Not expensive at all, in fact (maybe 10 or 15 euros?). I used to buy a pair for each of my female visitors when we lived in Paris and leave it in their room along with a bottle of water, a baguette and some pastries as a little welcome gift.

These are what I travel with, too. I got them from my MM Secret Santa a few years ago.
