hoobs went to the animal fair. The birds and the beasts were there. A big baboon by the light of the moon was combing his auburn hair.
You should have seen the monk. He sat on the elephant's trunk. The elephant sneezed and fell to his knees but what became of the monk, the monk, the monk?
Aaaaandddd your incredulousness (that's not a word, I know) gave me the brilliant idea to try my homemade shower cleaner on is, use a scrub brush and hose it off.
So tomorrow morning, when I board the charter bus with the kids (all 50-some of them) I will not have to pick out the husky ones to schlep T on their backs all day.
A dirty stroller is the least of your problems. Getting your kid out of bed to be on a bus at 3:30 to be at a state fair all day will be a bitch and a half. And seriously, the stroller issue is not something to get so worked up over.
Ido, we did it last year and it was great. You are right, I should have gotten so worked up, but my freak show manifested obese the stroller tonight, rather than the screaming kid, the impending feeling of vomit and the severe feeling of just wanting to take a freaking nap.
I probably shouldn't be going to the fair tomorrow, but that's my job, and that is its culture. My supervisor was back to work two days after her D and C, so I should be able to go tomorrow.
I'm also confused about the drivers license "deposit?" What? You have to leave your license with them? For an $8 stroller rental???
I work at a zoo, and our Gift Shop staff have to hold licenses for all rentals (strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, etc), because we've had problems with people walking off with them. I'd guess it's probably the same at the fair.
Hoobs, I know I'm a lurker, but I hope you get to feeling better soon!
Im fine guys. Sorry I freaked out. I am just feeling unprepared and dreading this trip. My whole stomach thing has flared up since the weekend and it ruined my Zen. For a moment I regressed to that girl I used to be. I was really concerned about 11 hours at a fair with a tired two year old. Now that I've had a second, I'm fine. I'm sorry. I am going to lay out our clothes, then head to bed.
