i think i would get them a small something. how nice is the venue? i would say spend maybe 50% of what you would for a wedding gift. and focus on something for the couple...like a night out, or a massage.... i think. i'm not sure. i've never been to a vow renewal.
They invited people to their vow renewal? I thought that you just did it between you and your SO.
I'd go to the total wine and more place in Bellevue and pick up a bottle of champagne from 2002. Or if you can find out what wine they served at their wedding, I'd get a bottle of that.

pretty much ditto all of this. do people expect gifts? If anything, I would go the sentimental route.

yeah they got married really young and wanted to throw a real wedding, so the renewal is at the Everett yacht club. It isn't super fancy. They invited 150 people.
She was talking about registering. I think I talked her out of it. She got the idea from one of her other friends. Needless to say some of their friends are a little trashy.
and i do agree that 10 years is really early to renew and/or invite people. i understand 40/50 year renewals, though.
i totally wanna do a renewal at 10yrs. no with people.. but def get a white summery dress and renew on a beach.. or wear a white bikini. depends on how skinny i am.
