My next set of homework is to create a PowerPoint style presentation and a Media Kit. The Media Kit I'm pretty sure I can do but I'm trying to do the Presentation first since I don't really know how to start or what I should be doing (and my inclination is to procrastinate because it's a little scary so I'm trying to fight that inclination).
Does anyone kind of do these regularly who might be able to chat with me about the specifics of my homework and help me figure out where to go with it?

I do a dozen or so PowerPoints a year. I just got done working with my coworker to re-do all our internal ones (he's better with graphics and transitions.)
PM me if you want to chat and I can see if I'm of any help.
Thank you ladies!! I knew I'd be able to count on my SNers! I'm emailing the teacher for a little more guidance as I was trying to work on it last night and other than her wanting us to tell a visual story and choose whether its an external or internal audience, I'm not sure if there's a specific goal she wants us to work on, like merely informing about the company, trying to sell the product, what. I just need a few parameters, when things are SO open ended, i feel like I'm trying to wade in the middle of the ocean. :/
Thanks Everyone! I might hit some of you up for maybe reviewing once I get it built but my first hurdle is figuring out my direction.
My criteria: we're supposed to develop a minimum 5 "slide" powerpoint or keynote presentation. The response from the teacher was less than helpful as it basically reiterated the information I had. "So it is completely wide open. It would be best to decide first who your audience is. Internal or external. From there say if you were to do an internal presentation it could be: an employee orientation, an introduction to a new product, an annual shareholders meeting etc. Make sure you look at your company narrative, brand standards, font choices etc."
Since I haven't created a formal presentation in forEVER, not having a given direction, I'm floundering on figuring this step out. My imaginary company is Blueberry Bio Tech - we create blueberry extract supplements in pill and powder food additive forms to aid reducing memory loss and improving CNS communication, based on a lot of studies out of Tufts from 2008-2011. My core image is approachable science, presenting facts in a non-emotional way but also in a human way so they sound warm but not necessarily mechanical. The company's mission is "It's about facts and science, but it's also about people." They are looking to create a new medical framework based on pure, concentrated whole foods & extras to treat symptoms and help retard aging related diseases without triggering drug cascades. Core customer base is healthcare professionals (probably skewing toward the Bastyr type crowd but they do want to include more traditional Western style professionals), healthcare providers such as nursing homes, seniors and middle-aged consumers caring for elderly patients or wanting to be proactive on a "retirement plan" for their body.
My initial inclination would be to do a general information presentation but I don't know WHO I would be presenting that TO. @*#$ Once I can get my story down, the work isn't so terrible (even if I haven't touched powerpoint in over 10 years, I can always cheat and do "slides" as pages in a graphic program since we export to PDF for class anyway) but its figuring out who I'm presenting this TO and therefore the approach that is stumping me.
Mrs.Potatohead helped me figure out a direction Its going to be a day of information sessions, performances, and workshops about aging (so external, general public)

When is it due? I can send you a bunch of stuff on creating good ppt content, when I'm back at home!

Next Monday. I think I have my slides losely figured out, just finding or creating all those graphics is going to be a challenge since they have to match my branding look.
