I would (and might) do a vow renewal for 10 years if we were somewhere tropical or something. It would just be the three of us, though. Later down the line, though, say 25 years or another big number, we'd had one where we invited guests. I think it's fine as long as it's like a celebration and not something where people thing they have to bring a gift. That's weird.
i clicked 25 years. but even that.......meh. a few guests is fine..making it an "anniversary party". if you want it wedding-style, then it'd need to be around 50 years.
but if you do it with no guests, you can do it as often as you'd like. i don't care.

I say not before 50 years. If you don't invite anyone then go for it anytime!
Confession- I think about our 50th. Doing a vow renewal at the chapel we got married at sounds nice. ;D You know, if we're still alive and chapel is still there of course.

lol but ditto - 50 years is pretty amazing so why not?! although personally I'll be happy just throwing a big party, doesn't have to include vows

I've never been to one or had anyone close to me have one.
Friend of a friend had one, after they decided to stay together after an affair.
We threw my grandparents an awesome 50th, no vow renewal, but a party with their friends still alive and tried to match what little theme they had for their wedding.

yeah, my parents through my mom's parents a 50th anniversary party, and my sister and I threw a 25th anniversary party for my parents. I hope I have awesome kids to throw me a party lol

Yah we threw one for my parents too, though I think we all realized a year later, we were off a year! Good thing, we were all off
Dang. Were we supposed to throw my parents a party? For my parents' 30th, we made them dinner reservations and paid for their meal. We are cheap kids I guess haha.
