I'm sorry it was a rough day. It happens to everyone, we can all empathize. Time will fix this, you'll be amazing at the next thing you do and you won't feel like this anymore. Hope you have a great deep sleep tonight!

sue, was the mistake something that might not have been made if you had extra staff? you seem to be pretty busy a lot and i don't recall if you have someone in the office to help out.
Sue Sue, we've all been there. It's a terrible, gut-punch feeling. But the worst didn't happen. And you're going to be double-extra-super-quadruple careful on dates from now on. So deep breaths. Big glass of wine to you.
This happens to everyone. It even happens when a docketing department is supposed to double check too. And if opposing counsel had been a dick, you'd have gone to the court and gotten an extension. No one can be 100% perfect all the time.
UGH. Thank God for a nice OC. That's the kind of thing that all of us lawyers feel sick reading because it's understandable how something like that can happen.

When the post is on the main boards it says SueSue. But when I come in it says peekay. Either your mistake is following you or proboards refuses to accept that SueSue can make mistakes.
I'm so sorry. I didn't see the details, but I know that feeling in the pit of your stomach and shakiness after realizing something could have been truly f-ed up for you and others.
