Okay, so if you didn't see it in the Thursday post, I got a second interview for that position! Interview is Tuesday with VP for the state. Now, this position is a director position, definitely a promotion from what I am doing now. Duties include holding stakeholder meetings, networking to try and acquire new contracts, etc. Definitely more high profile. I'm thinking image is important.
Here is my question: second interview--do I definitely wear a suit? Or could I get away with black skirt, blouse, blazer combo?
FWIW, I don't have a suit that fits So I would need to buy one.
I always vote suit for interviews. I've only had one company that explicitly stated "No suits for interviews", and in that case I took them at their word and wore a professional sheath dress (they like to imagine themselves as a trendy company). Have fun shopping this weekend!
I need to be packing this weekend!! Lol.
P is ready to kill me. He was like "Seriously? You thought it was an awesome time to start job interviewing 3 weeks before you close on your house? Why don't you start car shopping while you are at it?". Lol. I love that man for putting up with me.

This morning M was all "why are we redoing the bathroom this weekend if you're going to interview in another state?". LOL. Sometimes life's timing isn't perfect, that's why.
Exactly! Plus, this is totallyyyyyy my MO. I bought a house, finished grad school, got married and got a new job within 4 months of each other. I was interviewing for jobs 3 days before my wedding day, lol. I thrive off stress! Hahaha! I beat cancer, climbed Everest and got a new job within 6 months of each other. Whut, whut??!

Not surprisingly, I tend to "go big" and do everything at once, too. I am never as productive as when I have no time to spare!
Well, we are twins (according to Muddled). So, why wouldn't we do things the same way?

Are you disagreeing with me? I mean, really?
Oh, I'm not disagreeing with you. I think you suggested it first. In fact, chalupa is selling some riding breeches and as soon as I found out they didn't fit her, I knew they wouldn't fit me either. Twinsies, indeed.
