A very MM question. I can't decide and DH is not being helpful.
We've narrowed down the selection to 2 GE models. (We currently have a crappy 60+ dB Frigidaire that's 10ish years old.) Both have a hard food dispenser, heating element, more wash cycles than we'll ever need. The rest of our appliances are a mixture of black and stainless steel (and with our neighborhood, matching stainless steel appliances would be overboard). These two were chosen on their ability to hold our dishes (bosch and samsung racks do not accommodate our dishes at all), fit within the space of our current dishwasher (height being the main issue), and not have a stainless front panel that would drive us crazy with smudges. The dishwasher is pretty far away from anything else in the house, and anything is a large improvement over what we currently have, so I am not concerned about noise level really.
Also, this is not likely to be our forever home and we will probably move in the next couple of years.
Adding graphite to a mix of black and stainless makes no sense; no prospective homebuyer wants 3 different finishes in one kitchen. Plus I am transitioning from black to stainless and it's making my eye twitch. DH and I have agreed that the next appliance dies, we're swapping them both out.
Stainless interior would matter to me unless I was moving with a year. The rest not so much.

I'd go with the cheaper black one because I agree three different finishes in the kitchen would look odd and I wouldn't spend much for something I won't use for very long.

This. If your existing appliances are stainless and black, I would not want to add a third finish to the mix.
The fridge is stainless and the stove is stainless with a black electric cooktop. The all black appliances wouldn't necessarily convey in a sale. Would you pay $440 for the stainless version of the black one linked? I really hate stainless, but already deal with it for the fridge. Perhaps I should just suck it up for resale sake.
