I've looked at 4 stores and can't find tiles that I like. I'm surprised because I really thought it would be easy.
This is a TINY (half) bathroom, so even expensive tile is okay, but WTH, I've been looking for a neutral/cool grey and all the greys are warm-tawny. How hard is that? Hard enough to make me rethink grey because I can't find it!
One more store to visit (the ultra expensive ttile store is closed this weekend).
Here are the components in my ultramodern powder room:
Wow that sink looks so tiny! I feel like I would splash everywhere just trying to wash my face!
I don't think anybody will be washing faces in there. This is just an extra bathroom so guests don't have to go upstairs or downstairs for a toilet and sink.

That's going to be very sleek. I'm not sure what the very last fixture is. Light? TP holder?
This may be a dumb question, but have you checked the Big Box Stores? It does seem like grey should be easy. Home Depot MS International Metro Gris 12 in. x 24 in. Glazed Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile:

I have these in our bathroom, but I feel that they are pretty greige in person.
How about concrete style? Sort of like this bathroom, but with tiles:

Checked HD and Lowes. Nothing there, except maybe custom granite, which seems like a poor choice for flooring? IDK. Looks nice though.
Second suggestion: Porcelain that claims to look like slate. I have samples at my other office and can tell you, it's more like concrete (stained, abused, and very varied). It also comes in lots of sizes, but depending on the size of the space this can be visually overwhelming. products.daltile.com/series.cfm?series=447&
Third and very random: Have you considered cement tile (it's not really cement)? A lot of it would not work in your space, but I feel like something should. Here's a link to one shop; Google can lead you to others: www.cementtileshop.com/cement-tile/in-stock-encaustic-cement-tile.html.
