We just watched the first two episodes tonight. So far I find it interesting, though it's one of those shows that's either going to be good or absolutely terrible. I'm hoping since it's only 10 episodes Fox won't be a bunch of jerks and cancel it.
Eta: also first episode is available for free with an Amazon prime membership
You should watch! And not just because I want someone else to talk to about it, lol. Episode 3 will be airing Thursday, but you can catch the first two on Prime streaming. Sadly I think episode 2 is like $1.99 or something. But the first is free! lol
Yes we are. So far it's good and I hope it stays that way. The storyline could get weird.
That's what worries me too. It'll either be fantastic or go off the rails like Lost. Since it's based on a book I'm hopeful because that means they aren't just making it up as they go along, lol.
My H sent me an article/review that suggested watching the whole thing or nothing at all. Basically, it's not going to make sense until you have all the episodes under your belt. We'll see!
I finished all 3 episodes. I like it and it's becoming clearer what's going on but wow with the town mentality and public executions.
I have always loved Matt Dillon like since the Outsiders. Also it's a great cast with actors I've loved in other stuff - Shannyn Sossaman, Melissa Leo (her as a nurse is the creepiest I think), Juliette Lewis, Terrance Howard and Reed Diamond.
We have been watching them this weekend. I was ok with it until this ,ost recent episode where I thought, omg Lost all over again. I am really hoping it stays an interesting story and doesn't get "dumb."

Yeah I agree. I hope this last episode wasn't a sign of a terrible turn.
What's it about? I may read the books, my personal Fox ban is still in effect.
A secret service agent is investigating the disappearance of two fellow agents a few weeks prior and ends up after a car accident in the town of Wayward Pines. He's seemingly unable to contact the outside world (messages to his wife go to vm) and unable to leave. Time also seems to pass very differently for some of the people in WP.

Sounds interesting, I just ordered the book for my Kindle. Thanks!
