I've been up since 4:30. I'm exhausted. This coffee is doing nothing for me right now. I'm also feeling lazy on top of it and I have a lot to do today. DD woke up at 6am and hit the ground running wanting me to play with her. Also it's humid already.
It's finals today but I don't have any students so I'm working in my room all day moving furniture and cleaning. Blah. But only two more days of work until summer!
My mosquito bites have all turned super dark red and I look like I have chicken pox on my legs. So ugly
Today is open house for DS kindergarten class. He's growing up so fast. The part that makes me sad is he asked for plain underwear yesterday. No more Spider-Man or Star Wars.
I hope my mom can come home soon, but now there's some complications.
Continued good thoughts (and prayers if you're okay with that!) for your mom.
I had a mole removed yesterday. I have had it forever, but last week or randomly scabbed. It's so itchy now bug I'm trying not to touch the bandage so it can heal. Perks of my work I suppose...got it done on my lunch.

Was it painful? What exactly do they do? I have a mole I know needs to be removed but I'm a big chicken!!
Dress rehearsal for DD's recital tonight. I'm hoping to leave work a few minutes early because I've only got an hour and a half to drive to school, grab her, drive home, change/do her hair & make up and get her back into town on time for rehearsal. It's going to be tight.
I am hating my job extra hard these days but can't bring myself to start over somewhere else. I keep hoping that things are going to turn around here but it's not looking good.
Today is my birthday. I wish I thought ahead and took the day off.
I liked your post because it's your birthday, not because you're having a rough time at your job.

Mine just had her first recital this past weekend. What a fucking stressful ordeal! Not to mention expensive. Good luck!
7 hours of sleep! I got 7 hours! I feel so refreshed.
The baby spit up in my hair after he ate this morning. Hopefully I can get him to chill long enough for me to shower.
My legs are killing me after yesterday's workout. Holy shit. wambam, if you want to fuck with your legs, do the following: 3x5 back squats at 80% of 1rm, then an amrap 15 of 200m run, 10 lateral over bar burpees, and 5 thrusters at 95#. Fuck.

Thrusters absolutely destroy me. Whole body wreckage

I want a big ol tub of gummy worms. To me that says summer
I walked downstairs this morning and the kitchen was spotless. I am in shock because I am usually the only one who will clean the kitchen. It was a nice surprise and started the day off good.
Happy birthday, twostep! Sorry your job is sucky right now. Hope you get to do something fun to celebrate!
DH has softball tonight and is bringing MIL with him and maybe DS. I plan on either going to the gym with my "free time" or sitting my butt in my chair in some relative peace (I'll still have DD with me and she can only rarely be described as peaceful, lol).

The shot to numb it burns. That's the only pain. Do it. Not worth the risk of waiting!

Tell me about it! I love watching the shows but with all the fuss getting to that point I end up feeling a little frazzled. It does get easier every year though. Thank you!!
I was looking at my cell phone bill and noticed we had been charged for going over the data. FI and his daughter finally didn't blow the data plan so I called and had the charges removed. Yay for saving $15!
Only two more days of work and I get my 3-day weekend!!

We had my ob appointment today. She said the ultrasound was dating the baby to have a later due date. From Oct. 17 to Oct. 28. 7-10 days off is normal so we are a little out of that range. Dammit I am not playing this game again. With my first pregnancy they moved us from April 6 due date all the way to April 22. They were also testing for growth restriction but I was annoyed that they just kept pushing the due date back. I wished I spoke up more then since that pregnancy ended in a stillbirth.
OB said today we were keeping the original due date and doing a follow up ultrasound in a few more weeks. I am 99% sure of the date of my last period.

My mom fell this weekend and it was pretty scary. I didn't see it and she had all of my aunts around her when I finally ran to her. Thankfully she didn't break anything but after seeing her in pain in the hospital, I'm finally realizing she isn't as young as she used to be. I'm not ready for this stage yet!
My uterus almost exploded watching her hold my cousin's baby, too. Combined with her fall, I'm worried about having kids too late because I can't wait to see her as a grandma. She'd be amazing at it.
(((ladystardust))) I haven't really been following your posts, but were you tracking ovulation or just periods? Have previous ultrasounds been on track with your original due date?
Thanks. Not tracking ovulation so maybe the timing was a bit weird with that and my period. I had a pretty typical cycle when I was testing a few years ago. First ultrasound around 9 weeks was spot on with the Oct. 17 due date. I know the time off isn't that crazy right now I'm just concerned she will keep falling behind with each new ultrasound, which is what happened before.
I am just going to dump this here so I can get it out. I had my first medicated cycle this month. Last time I was trying to get ku I didn't even ovulate until my 6th cycle. I was just fully expecting to not ovulate this month but I did. I am so freaking beside myself trying not to get my hopes up. I "know" it didn't work because I just can't believe it will work and let myself get disappointed. However, I was just looking at newborn clothes on zulily. Ughhhhh this is the worst and it is just my first fucking month of trying again. I am going to give myself a heart attack before I get fucking pregnant again.
Was it painful? What exactly do they do? I have a mole I know needs to be removed but I'm a big chicken!!
I had one removed in high school (on my forehead lol). From what I remember they just numbed me up and cut it out. A few stitches put in. It wasn't too big of a mole. I had a friend get a bigger one on her arm removed and they had to get some of the area around it as well.
Not too painful but it was uncomfortable and having stitches on my forehead wasn't very fun.
I've decided to go on a health kick. I made a bunch of little single-serve oatmeal jars last night. I also got a whole bunch of fruits and vegetables, and made a meal plan for dinners with healthy recipes. I hope the same thing doesn't happen that usually happens - all of that produce goes to waste because I get lazy and just pop something in the microwave instead of cooking.
