Killed it this week. Apparently running is really good for you.
I got a recipe for protein pancakes from my sister... OMG they're good. A bit eggy textured, but still really good. I've been eating them like a freak. Today I'm going to try a protein mug cake she gave me a recipe for.
Does anyone here do overnight oats successfully? I've tried a few times and they have turned out just gross.

I guess I didn't drink enough beer after getting back from Greece, because now I'm up a pound from Wednesday. We also have an old-school scale, so I think I'll blame that as well.
I'm up almost 2 lbs I need to get my eating under control. I was blaming breastfeeding but maybe I should stop making excuses. I've gained so much back in the last few weeks I hate how I feel but have no motivation!
I had a good week, but it's because my broken toe hurts too much to walk anywhere to buy food. And because my baby was kind enough to suck calories out of me every hour of the night.
jamaga2583 would you mind sharing the pancake and mug cake recipes? I'm not participating so I'm not weighing in, but my eating has been not so great. I'm not over eating, just making poor choices. And I'm bathing suit shopping today. Ugh.
ashleydl83 absolutely! The pancake recipe sounds really gross, but it tastes so good! I use rolled oats, but you can use any kind.
Protein pancake recipe. 1 quarter cup oats, one third cup cottage cheese. One half cup of egg whites. 1 scoop protein powder. I put in a teaspoon of baking powder and a teaspoon of cocoa powder. Put it in a blender and the cook like a pancake.
Cake: 1 scoop protein powder, 1tbsp cocoa powder 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1tsp sugar or sweetener. Mix. Add 1 egg white and 2tbsp skim milk. Mix. Nuke for 30 seconds. Boom.
Up almost a lb. memorial weekend was not kind to me. I worked out every day Monday through Friday and ate clean and am still up a pound. I really need to focus on not ruining all my progress over the weekend. I did do much better about not snacking at night which is my worst habit. I do feel stronger, but damn if it's not so frustrating not seeing the scale move consistently in the right direction!!

I'm down 1/2 lb again. It feels like a stalemate, though because I just can't stop sabotaging myself on weekends, then have to work my butt off during the week just to basically maintain. I did get on the treadmill 3 times in the last 4 days so I am proud of myself for making that commitment.

I maintained this week. I was at the lake over the weekend, so I made terrible choices there. However, I was perfect the rest of the week and was hoping that made up for it. I guess maintenance is better than gaining, though. On to next week!

Let's market is as "Misery." Insanity was so 2012.
I was stuck at the same weight for a while too and then it started coming off.
I did like a few days of really clean eating and juicing and Shakeology which I think helped kick start it.
Maintaining is okay sometimes too Especially with working out a lot, the scale moves less for some people. How do you FEEL?

I didn't weigh in last week but am down .1 from two weeks ago lol. I remember after H this was a weight I got stuck at for a long time. It's like my body really wants to plateau here. We visited my parents over Memorial day weekend and ate out for almost every meal so i'm sure that didn't help. I'm just going to try and be better about snacking and get back to my workout videos. Also, I think starting Sunday the weather might actually be nice here so hoping to get some walks in.
I stayed the same as last week, however, last weekend was a disaster eating-wise and I've been miserable ever since. It's amazing how quickly your body adjusts to lean meats, fruits, and veggies. I was definitely higher on Monday than I was today, therefore I'm counting this week as a success!
Eta: No way kdrake8 - You're beautiful! We've seen the pictures! Hugs though, I can sympathize with feeling bigger than you want and thinking everyone else sees the same thing.

I had a good week! I hiked while Brady was at school I think I might do that more . I also did weights and stair master last night so I'm pretty sore from that.
Side not while at the gym they moved Amelia to the toddler area because she seemed "bored". I think it's that she just doesn't like the lady who was working because as soon as I walked back to the infant area to get her stuff she started screaming
