1970s center hall, Georgian colonial - I love Victorians and really any historic house but that wasn't going to happen. I'm slowly adding my own character

brick bungalow.
I like it a lot better than the ranch we lived in before. The ranch had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a full basement which was nice. Hated the open floorplan kitchen/living space. This has 2 bed, 1 bath and a dungeon basement. BUT I love the closed layout.
I know I am obsessed. We are buying land when we move but going to sit on it for 2-3 years and rent so we can build this house. I think it will be worth the wait!
This is the house we own, and where we're moving in July. Not nearly as much charm - style = "new construction beige", I guess
BUT...the floors don't creak, and it has geothermal instead of a giant, inefficient boiler, and the windows don't leak like sieves. And the garage is attached. Oh God, I've missed an attached garage.
