Whoever does the commercials for M&M's is awesome. I laugh every time I see the commerical where "red" thinks the other m&m is naked. Then yesterday I saw the one where the chocolate m&m is on a date. Holy cow that guy is hot! And his voice... I had to google--might be William Levy???
My random: Thank you to whoever recommended the book "Too good to leave, too bad to stay." I am not finished with it, but so far I feel like it was written just for me.
I normally do not wear chunky necklaces, but am wearing one today and it feels so heavy. Like it's dragging me down. Ok, that's a bit dramatic, but I can feel its weight on my neck and it's bothering me.
I look cute though. lol. I will probably take this off after lunch and stick it in my desk drawer along w/ all my other costume/fun jewelry. I don't know why I bother.
Me too. I always feel like they're going to choke me out.
I'm pissed at my DH. I was about to head to the door to a meeting with a professor to talk about my thesis and I discovered that he accidentally took my wallet which had my keys, cards and money inside. Now I have no way to leave home and I'll have to postpone the meeting to next week.

After having a crazy summer, the highlight of which was this past weekend; I look forward to some downtime at the house with just the dog and myself. DH will be OOT too.

That commercial cracks me up, I love it!
I have a metallic taste in my mouth for days on end now and it's really annoying. I haven't changed toothpaste, the dentist checked out OK and I am not pregnant so I have no idea what it could be from.

I have a drawer full of too-heavy necklaces & earrings at work. It makes me insane when I'm super aware of the weight.
William Levy is evidence enough on his own that we needed to allow travel between Cuba and the US far, far sooner than we did. Because, damn. Just....damn.

Are you taking any meds? Vitamins?
No vitamins and just the BCPs that I've been on for years. The brand hasn't changed.
Random advice of the day: No matter how in love you are, how much you're sure you'll never get divorced, or how much money of your own you have... never sign a prenup without covering yourself first.

I am the same way. I think it is a common complaint from people like "us" I believe it is a mild sensory issue coming into play.
My random is that I love who ever invented the babybel cheese in the white wrapper. 50 calories, 6 grams of protein, and it's CHEESE! What's not to love?

The lessons of divorce - I can completely relate. And until you go through it, people just don't go it.
Swiz, try tortilla crusted fish (zomg the cheesy rice it comes with is delicious) and the garlic herb spring chicken rolls. Those are really the only two I buy because I actually like eating them lol.
Hugs to you Rikki.
My random: I am loving today. Currently sitting on my aunt's porch with a huge mug of coffee. We are going to pick up her kids (who I love!) soon, hang out with them a bit, go to the girls' gymnastics practice, then my aunt and I are going outlet shopping! I can't wait to get a ton of clothes for grad school. SO and I agreed on a reasonable budget and I plan on stretching it to the limit with 80% off banana republic.

I just ordered some off-brand energy drink I've never heard of from Amazon because it's $9.72 for 12 16-oz cans, the reviews say it tastes like Red Bull, and it ships free with prime. Worth a try.

Try it in the privacy of your own home. Please. For the sake of your co-workers.

I finished watching season 2 of Pretty Little Liars the other day and was super excited to start season 3 today. I just found out that the episodes are only available online for a week after air. Now I have to wait until they are on Netflix. :-( :-( No guilty pleasure for me today.

A 'nestie' recommended this to me as well. I've found a lot of comfort in the book. I'm not sure I am in a place to answer all the questions honestly yet, but its given me a lot to think about.

My random is re: the JD thread. $40K does not seem like a decent salary for someone with a professional degree.
Also, that whole thread lends credence to my dad's motto that it's not worth going to any school he hadn't heard of before he left Cuba. (He was referring to undergrad schools I was applying to as a HS senior, but it seems to definitely apply to law schools.)

I finally have some work to do (yeah!) and my allergies are killing me--after a couple hours of work this morning, my head hurt so bad I used my Neti pot, rinsed my eyes out with allergy eye drops, took a pain killer, and put my head down "for just a few minutes while the pill kicked in". I woke up 4 hours later. Now I have to work all evening to make up for the "quick nap".
Again, ragweed is evil and must be destroyed. Or I need to have a bubble to live in.
I am about to head to the chiropractor for the 3rd time in 2 days. I woke up yesterday unable to get out of bed without DH's help and with my head basically stuck on my right shoulder. The adjustments are helping, but I am still cocking my head to the right involuntarily.

I am irrationally irritated that a friend just posted she is pregnant again on facebook. She has two kids, her husband has no job (hasn't been able to find one in two plus years) and they just foreclosed on their house. Its absolutely none of my business what they do with their lives, but since my husband and I decided not to have more kids due to finances I am really irritated that they are (and they are worse off financially then us).
