H and I are using our brand new TV we got for our anniversary. We bought it 3 weeks ago and it's finally came in today! We only had to spend $100 OOP since grandma and parents gave us funds for our anniversary. Score!
Got my acceptance letter for grad school today, so I'm pretty excited about that! Celebrated with pizza and wings for dinner, which was delicious but now I feel super gross. Back to healthy eating tomorrow.
DD is in bed and I'm trying to decide how to occupy the next two hours until DH is done with work. I should clean and do dishes, but I predict I will probably watch Netflix instead
I'm also watching American Ninja Warrior. It's a pretty good show.
I got bit by the cleaning bug tonight and cleaned my closet. I have 15 pairs of shoes to donate, a big bag of clothes to give to my niece and threw out a bag full of worn or ripped clothes. I can close my dresser drawers completely again without pushing everything down first.
Thanks everyone! I'm going to be getting a masters in public administration, with an emphasis in nonprofit management. I've worked in the human services field basically since I turned 18, so I figured this would be a good next step to hopefully keep moving upward
megkat - It makes me want another one right away, too! I've got a few more planned, but I want to start working out again so I'm in better shape before I start working on what should be muscular areas. Haha.
I'm watching the Bachelorette. Baby seems to want to be up all day and then go to sleep in the afternoon and barely wake up until morning except to eat! Should I be thankful? :\
I'm working. I use that term loosely. I just need to stay up until midnight when our reporting system shuts down.
My boss called me a little while ago. He was like, "Sooo, how are things going? Mm hmm mm hmm. So, really, how are things??" I think he must know that my former boss offered me a job.

I have the opposite problem. He recently started sleeping all day and now wants his bedtime to be midnight. I go back to work in two weeks, so I need to fix this!
I'm still up. I noticed recently that when I use the downstairs bathroom, my nose starts to run. I sniffed around, thinking it was the sink, but it's not. There is a smell of mold/mildew coming from the floor somehow. As soon as it hit my nose I retched and had to run out of there (sense of smell is heightened). The bathroom is right over the basement. Even after lots of cleaning the basement still is retaining some odor from the flood.
I'm so disheartened. I turned the heat off as soon as we discovered the flood (like 7 weeks ago) to prevent the nasty air from spreading throughout in the vents. I'm scared to use the AC when it gets hot. What if the whole house starts to reek? We can't just up and sell the house right now. We were planning on being here another 5 years. We just refinanced.
Now I can't get the smell out of my head and I'm retching every few minutes and my throat hurts. I feel like I'm losing my mind. H can barely smell the stench because he has a weak sense of smell in general. He's thinking of ways to seal off or insulate the floor or something...hopefully he comes up with something that works. I'm so tired of this shit.
@moonbeam- ((hugs)) You are probably sensitive to the smell thanks to lovely pg hormones. Praying your DH can fix it and you don't have any more issues with your house. Hope you are feeling better today too!
