"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
However, for being fat, I don't get chafing really. I also don't really wear dresses or skirts but I've never had a huge issue with it.
ETA: It makes me sad though to see girls and women post photos of girls whose thighs don't touch and get all upset that they cannot achieve that gap. It is so much how you're built, not just how much body fat is on you.
Lurker here, but Y'all the Monistat anti chafe gel is a-maz-ing!
I've heard that people put that on their eyes!
Haha! Yes, it is supposed to work well as a makeup primer. But...I don't use it for that. I do carry it with me at all times when I'm wearing skirts! It's the only thing that keeps my thighs from chafing and that shit hurts!
Yes, but now that I've lost some weight, I no longer have the chafing issues, THANK GOD (I'm still overweight though). I hated that, I think it was my least favorite thing about being fat. I hated wearing dresses and skirts b/c I'd have to wear spanx, no matter how hot it was. The chafing gel only worked so well - I had to reapply it a lot.
I just threw my spanx away yesterday ::throws confetti::
Note: I still could use something to smooth/slim my gut but I no longer need the thigh portion.

so I have big ol' swimmer thighs that I've hated my whole life. I have a triangle gap type thing at the top of my thighs/where they meet my body where they don't touch, but they do touch further down where my muscle/fat is all gigantic. they do not chafe when I walk though. I have child birthing hips too. I feel like I'm a complicated outlier on grace's chart.
Even when I was at the slimmest, fittest point in my life, and even with my lack of hips, and even when I had legs women would kill for, my thighs always rubbed together. I hate it.
mine do, they always have even when i was a stick figure and about 90 lbs in HS. (note i'm 5'2") i'm 115 now and they sometimes chafe when i run really long distances, but they do touch.
