A friend of mine expressed shock when I commiserated along with her about thighs rubbing together and chafing. She thought, that because I am "thin," my thighs wouldn't touch at the top. But I have seen even skinnier girls in shorts whose thighs touch. I think it's more of a function of how wide your hips are, maybe?
ETA: !@#$ I just realized that two of the options are the same.

They touch at the very top but don't really rub together. I have been about 75 pounds heavier than I am now and they did at that point, so I think I'll always have a little extra chub there. I was kind of surprised to find out this was a common enough GBCN "problem" that there have been entire threads devoted to pantaloons.
I think it also has something to do with how wide your hips are. Some tiny girls have their thighs meet, some bigger girls don't. I have spent time studying this.

But I have wide child birthin' hips too!
So what does that make me?
I'm a freak of nature, I knew it.
You're an abberation. It's ok. I'll still add you to my graph.

I totally told her to buy pantaloons because she only really wears skirts.
When I was a kid I overheard a conversation between my mom and her friend. The friend said that the only time her thighs touched was when she was pregnant. I remember wondering what the hell was wrong with my thighs since they already touched. I was kind of bummed about it for awhile until I figured out it was more about how your body was built than weight.

When I'm standing still, there is a gap. When I walk, they definitely rub together. I am underweight, so who knows if it's my body or the way I walk. Either way, I answered yes, because they do.
Mine touch at the top now, a little. They don't chafe, and if I lose weight they probably won't touch anymore. But I'm super top heavy - I'd much rather have a bigger booty/hips/thighs than my lumpy dumpy middle. :/

its the WORST, they always have rubbed. My weight never changed it. The best trick I have is to wear bike shorts under skirts and shorts, its such a life savers!!!! :Y:
