This article is kind of hilarious. In other news, he is officially IN the race now! So his opposition of the war in Iraq could I think be a thorn in Hillary's side.
Former Rhode Island Republican senator and independent-turned-Democratic governor Lincoln Chafee announced a run for president Wednesday evening. But first a more pressing matter.
According to Chafee’s spokeswoman, Debbie Rich, the campaign was unable to recover the log-in information to the Facebook page he used as governor. Chafee’s wife took to Facebook last week in an attempt to reach former staff who had managed the page.
The post has since been deleted from Stephanie Chafee’s account.
Rich told Boston.com on Wednesday that the log-in information is no longer available and they are going to try to disable the account.
“There is confusion now as supporters are trying to access Lincoln Chafee’s new Facebook page to follow his presidential bid and the old page comes up first in their search,” Rich said.
Chafee’s old Facebook page—managed by staff when he was governor and yet to be updated since October 2014—is a verified account and has more than 6,000 likes. Meanwhile, his 2016 presidential campaign page has less than 200 likes.
Rich had previously told Bloomberg Politics that they were hoping to merge the two pages.
