i opened new accounts. i moved my money over. and the motherfucking bank has sent me no fewer than six emails with helpful alerts that my account balance is $0 and blah blah.
A) where were these helpful alerts when someone was impersonating me trying to get a debit card?
A1) thanks for not giving her the debit card, but you know, TELL ME.
B) really? you asswipes can't figure out what went on? when i signed shit. closing my accounts. and then everything was updated electronically. which the banking manager showed me. on her computer. her work computer. for the bank.
C) just, everyone on earth can get out of my face for life about this bullshit.
She went to the bank and closed her accounts. THe bank manager showed her that "see? all done, closed, nothing left to worry about with these" The bank's system is now sending unhelpful emails that the bank balance in the closed account is at $0 and here's how you can fix that. Instead of going "$0, oh it's a closed account, no big deal, nothing to see here"
This is such a pain in the ass for you. All of it :@

i am seriously dismayed that this is the result of billions of years of evolution. we're no longer primordial ooze, but banking institutions can't tell the difference between "overdrawn" and "closed."
