It's his build and a midwest thing. I have a cousin who is 6'6" and has always worn his shirts and siuts like that. If he can't spend money on clothing or get a tailor, can he buy a cheap sewing machine from Overstock to take some of the shirts in a bit?
My husband is always hemming and taking in his shirts (he sews way better than I do). I wonder if Ryan would hire him ... I could use some cash in the shoe fund.
I was just thinking this after seeing him on tv all week. Poor guy and his 6% body fat. Flame full confession, I find him strangely attractive, even in ill fitting clothes.
My husband read a blogger who said that Paul Ryan showed up to an event with Romney without a jacket, so Romney gave him his; I guess to make the new guy look better to their supporters. That must be all the pics of him wearing a huge jacket and R without one. The ballooning button downs do look funny.
Lol at calling Chelsea a political figure. Either way, the candidates can't win....they either spend too much and it pisses people off, or they don't look good enough.

It was more in reference about her mom's interview from the other day. She actually did she would consider following her parent's footsteps though.
Lol I love Chelsea. I totally relate to her frizzy haired dorky childhood turned sophisticated adult. Well, except the whole being the president's daughter thing.
And I'm dying at one of the comments where the poster posted this gif. You're younger than me, but have you heard of the band Talking Heads/(David Byrne)'s Stop Making Sense?
Yes I would think Romney would have a tailor. His relaxed look isn't so great either, but at least his suits fit. I didn't know that he was giving his jackets to Ryan though, but I wouldn't think they would be so big on him if that is the case? I can see how you can't win wearing designer clothes or cheap clothes, but I don't think tailoring your clothes is a huge luxury either. Every dry cleaner has a tailor in house, spending an extra $10-15 tailoring a shirt is worth it, even if you or your spouse can't sew.
My DH is 6'3" and about 155, so similar frame. He doesn't like super-fitted clothes, but I don't let him look like this, either. I tailor his stuff for him. He does have 1 suit though, and it's slim cut and fits very well.
