Do you want center city? There are some nice places up here that will afford less traffic passing you on the street.
Depending on how much and what you want to drink, you can get out of Parc without dropping major coin if you get the cheese plate and then split something or get salads or one of the smaller items. The pissaladiere is delicous and enough for an entree.
Rembrandt's, where we went, has nice outdoor seating.
Oh, you could try this place, Revolution House - it's on the corner of 2nd and Market across from Continental - they don't have sidewalk seating but there is a gorgeous looking upstairs deck. (and close to FF, hello!)
Bridget Foy's @ Headhouse Square St. Stephen's Green @ 17th and Green Kite and Key @ 19th and Callowhill
The bread at Parc is free. The charcuterie is like $14 and the tuna carpaccio is about the same price. Totally enough food for 2. Also, the Moules Frites are amazaballs. There is no better outside table than Parc.
Devon has nearly the same view and is more reasonably priced for entrees.
If you wanted to sit outside off the park, you could do Marathon on the Square. It's on the corner of 19th and Spruce (one block south of Rittenhouse Square.)
Or I love Seafood Unlimited on 20th just north of Spruce. It's super cheap and has a few outside tables.
I ate a great place when I was staying at the Rittenhouse Hotel. It's kind of across the street on the corner of Walnut.
I can't remember the name of it but it had good food and drinks. We sat outside and it was so nice.
I know I'm so helpful LOL
Probably Rouge... or there is a newish place, I think it's Devon Seafood.
You should go to Parc, Beagle, it's so good and so much fun to people watch there, plus you get to look right at the park. And the cheese, omg the cheese.
Rouge is super expensive too, and it's tiny. Just go to Parc. I'm poor as hell and I went there last night for drinks. Cause I really like to act rich.
I love Jones- but it's all the way on the other side of Broad. (7th and walnut? Chestnut? I can never remember!) but it is very close to Washington Square park and you gets lots of good food for a decent price!
