I'm looking for some sort of program to help keep me on task.
Ideally, I want something that I can set up permanent weekly reminders for (like ordering office supplies on Mondays) but also have the ability to add one offs as they come up (like completing an expense report, which doesn't happen weekly).
Does anyone know of an app or download that I can get that functions like this?
I want to do this with outlook since that's what we use at work. Is there a way to set up recurring tasks or to-do list items? I don't want to set this stuff up as appointment on my calendar. I would prefer it be a recurring list item that can be checked off.
Eta: gah, never mind. I just saw the recurrence button for creating a new task. Thanks, laz!

Yeah! It is super helpful because I have different recurring things on different days!
Another vote for Outlook, it's what we use at work and it helps me stay organized. My boss can also create tasks for me and I can update her through outlook.
It's a bit intense to set up, but Total Workday Control with Outlook has changed my life. It uses the task list in outlook in a really interesting way.
