Good morning. H and I had a great dinner last night for our anniversary. And Edmund did great at grandpas house. They all had a blast. We got to talk about things and get some things out in the open and it felt so good.
I'm off to work for the day. Luckily it's a video shift so it will be a piece of cake. Hope everyone has a great day!
I'm so glad you had a good night, sounders! I know it was much needed.
Good morning everyone! I stayed up wayyy too late watching Dawson's Creek and I'm pretty tired this morning. Luckily there's coffee and I'm only working on essays today.

Good morning! I am sore from my workout last night, going up/down stairs and sitting down takes a lot more effort than normal. I'm trying to think of an inventive way to work out tonight so I don't pass out from heat exhaustion.
Sounders, so glad you got a much needed date night! Happy belated anniversary
LL - that spin class sounds so cool! A scenic bike ride? I want to go!
I haven't felt good yesterday and so far today. No workout yesterday because of how sore I was from Tuesday, so hopefully will squeeze in a workout tonight.
We just found out that my boss, who just got back from medical leave end of last week, is going to be out again for a few weeks for another surgery. I'm worried about her and sad for us. Things were really starting to settle down. Work is not a pleasant place when she is out.
Last night my cousin and I went to dinner and went to see Rent. Rent was... interesting. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't expecting that. I'm so glad that I went with my cousin though because she's really in to musicals and has seen Rent and La Bohem (the opera it's based on) before, so she was able to explain what was going on to me.
Tonight's going to be low key with a trip to the gym. Happy Thursday!
I'm inspired by everyone working out. I really wish I could say the same.
We are en route for a long weekend on SoCal to see my Fam. Why are there so many crazies at the airport? Today:
1. A man and his son were in front of the southwest check in line. There were like 37773 kiosks open and he just stood there so H said- you can use any of the monitors. The man gets all defensive saying- I've been traveling for 40 years, I know what I'm doing! I need to talk to someone! Then turns back around and continues to hold up the line. So H calmly says- Ok, so then can you step aside so everyone else can use the self service monitors? And the man snaps saying- fine fine go! Hokay then.
2. I'm in the security line and just as I'm gonna push my bags thru the TSA agent stops me and says they need to change operators. So I wait. Then 4823883 people behind me start yelling at me to push my bag thru. I literally had to scream back at the crowd that the TSA agent told me to wait. I guess this was my karma for the man in #1 above.
3. I'm wearing a maxi skirt and had to get pat down by a TSA agent. And it took forever for a female assist to come over. Note to self- dont wear maxi skirts to the airport.
4. There was a girl wearing LAP (leggings as pants) which weren't 100% opaque. And she was also wearing a peach sheer shirt with a black bra underneath. How does she not feel naked?
5. The lady next to me has fake nails that are creeping me out right now.
carylee - why does a maxi skirt require a pat down? Sounders - glad you finally got that reconnect time with your H!
Most of my news from yesteday was in last night's vent. I'm still feeling a bit sad today and things are making me want to cry. TOM isn't for 2 weeks so am I really back to suffering 2 weeks of PMS?! Also, I bought fancy prenatals at WF and we know the bag made it in the house but can NOT find it! I know taking those would probably help with the PMS. *grump*
I've been so MIA between work and my PAX nerdery plans .
Yesterdays' big home thing was putting up a new mailbox. But it's top-loading, which W pointed out is probably bad in the rainy season . I kind of want to keep it anyway, but we'll see.
BIL's pre-wedding BBQ is tonight ... I hope they have lots of iced lemonade in this weather! But I'm excited to meet all of FSIL's (?) Idaho family.
I am totally falling down on getting to the gym. Maybe I will just go on Sunday no matter what.

Happy Thursday! Last night DH and I went to a Mexican restaurant, it was pretty good. Afterwords, I convinced him to take me to the Baskin Robbins a few doors down. I got the Oreo sundae and it was so good! I nom'd on that even though I was kinda full from dinner.
DH and I have an appointment at 3, and then we're going to buy b-day gifts for BIL and DH's aunt. We are also buying SIL a VERY late b-day gift. Like it was back in March late.
My family is finally gone. And now that they are, I kind of miss them.
Next week, friends from Australia are in town for a few weeks, including PAX. It'll be my first PAX, but I'm still not sure if I will go. Or maybe I will sell my pass halfway through the day. We have a lot of things planned and I only hope I will be able to keep up.
Are you going for just one day or the whole weekend? I find the whole weekend a little exhausting, but I will have the panel I'm hosting on Friday and then miss most of Saturday b/c of one of W's friends' weddings, so that will keep things fresh.
Today is my Friday! Yeah to working 4 10s. I'm very excited for the weekend. Tomorrow is H's birthday and I have big plans. None of them he knows about. We are going to go to NW Trek to do the zip line adventure and then at night do a ghost tour in Pioneer Square.
