Kristen had a dentist appointment July 25th. The dentist pointed out a loose tooth she hadn't noticed yet.
THAT THING IS STILL IN THERE. Right up front. You can SEE that it is hanging on. She wiggles it all day long, you can hear it when she does it. This thing needs to jump before I yank it.

It could take a while. DD #2 actually had to have her two front teeth pulled earlier this summer, because the permanent teeth were practically all the way in behind them, and those suckers just would not get loose enough to come out on their own! DD #1 had several that we were concerned would come out at night and get swallowed, so DH tied floss to and yanked them. He got her to do it by promising her that the tooth fairy would be extra nice to such a brave girl. Bribery will get you everywhere with my kids.

Now she won't eat because THIS TOOTH RUINS EVERYTHING. I've tried telling her to take really small bites, pass it OVER the front teeth, and then chew on the sides, but she wails that she just can't and then collapses onto the nearest fainting couch. She's getting held down with some pliers later.
omg, as an elementary school teacher, i feel your pain, i see more loose teeth in a week than i EVER cared to see. it's way more gross as an adult than i remember it being as a kid. I hope you can convince her to yank it out soon!!!

She came out and whined that she wanted her snack. I told her she JUST finished eating lunch. She whined that she can't EAT with this TOOTH. I asked her how she was supposed to have a snack then. That was a few minutes ago. She's still standing there staring at me, trying to figure this out. I'm typing and she's still staring at me. I WIN.
