Do you go to bed at the same time as your spouse?

Not often, and quote honestly, I prefer to get into bed before him.

I like to wind down with TV, book, Internet, etc. If we go at the same time, I feel bad having all of that stimulation going on.

Most nights. But I flight sleep, fall asleep on the couch, etc. He wishes I would go to bed much earlier.

We generally get in bed within 10 minutes of each other. Then I play on my phone or my kindle paper white for half an hour after he falls asleep.

Most of the time, no. H likes to stay up later than me. We don't have a tv in our room and neither of us are the type that do stuff, like read or play on the web, while in bed.

Hardly ever. H stays up at least 2 hours later than me on most nights, and I wake up at least one hour earlier than him.

He works restaurant hours and I have a typical 9-5. So I tend to go to bed way earlier/wake up way earlier than him.

He usually comes up and gets in bed with me for a while but after I fall asleep he goes downstairs and watches tv or whatever and then goes to bed an hour or two later. I get up an hour or so before him.

We sleep in separate beds currently, because I have a sleep disorder. We go through phases where we sleep in the same bed, when things are a little easier for me.

We do actually lie down at the same time and we have a relaxing bedtime ritual.

Not married, but I voted SS.

I'd say 25% of the time we don't go to bed together. This is usually when I have to get up super early, like 4 am, so I go to bed early around 10, so he doesn't come to bed with me. Or when he's working super late and I go to sleep before he gets home.

Other than that, if we're both home at a normal time we usually head up to bed around 1130 or midnight and go to sleep together. I like it that way!

He works nights so no. On his days off his body is still on nights so he stays up pretty late.

Pre-child almost every night unless one of us was working late.  

Now I pump at 10:30 and DH usually wants to go up before me on "school nights".  I'm usually in bed about 1/2 hour after him.   Weekends we're generally in bed the same time.

We dont always climb into bed at the same time. Sometimes one of us wants to stay up longer to read, or watch tv, etc, but we don't do it in bed.

I like to read in bed for an hour or so before I fall asleep. DH falls asleep the second he gets into bed, so even if we do get into bed at the same time, I'm still up later.

Yes. He falls asleep within 20 minutes and I read or look at my phone for the first hour. Sometimes I go to the guest bed after he falls asleep if I'm restless.

We work opposite shifts, so not on work nights. When we are home together, we generally do.

During the school year, but in summer, not so much. I try to when I am home in summer, since the kids and I travel without him a lot, but it's hard because he has to get up at 6:15.

I love going to sleep with him. He is cuddly.

We don't have a tv in our bedroom and I usually don't read in there because it's a tad too dim, so when we both head up there it's to sleep. I tend to be a light sleeper, so if H stays up later than me it wakes me up when he comes in.

Good grief no, he has the worst sleep habits of anyone I know. He's currently asleep on the family room floor. He'll get up in a few hours and do some work online, then go back to sleep. I'm about to go to bed, I'll sleep until 6, straight through.

I have a friend who goes to bed when her H decides it is time. If he decides at 10 he's ready for bed then she has to go too. If he wants to stay up until midnight, she has to too. Yes, he's controlling and yes, she knows it. Until she reaches the point of enough, she'll put up with it.

I'm an adult, I decide when I'm going to be and not some other adult telling me.

No. We used to, while he was working and I was in school. Then I got into the bad habit of procrastinating on school assignments, and staying up late to finish. I'm not in school anymore, but since I don't have to get up for work, I still stay up late. I try not to stay up later than midnight, because DH was complaining about not spending very much time together. I have made an effort to go to bed at the same time as him a few times, but he just rolls over and goes right to sleep, so I don't understand why it's such a big deal if I'm in there.

We lay down together, then I get back up. DH gets up at 5am for work. I roll out of bed some time between 9:30 and 11:30.
