It is totally different from the first two and has just confused the issue further.

Oh no....
How frustrating
I also don't think the realtor thing is super crazy. If the right house comes along it can't hurt. I feel like if you anticipate a move it would be nice to do it before the boys start school. Plus you never know if something awesome will come along.
Surgeon 1: there is fusion but we should leave it alone unless there's a problem Surgeon 2: there is fusion and we should operate to prevent problems Surgeon 3: nope, no fusion
First day of girl scout day camp today. So exhausting yet so fun. I didn't expect to enjoy it. Watching little girls feel empowered to learn and try new things is pretty fun.
Our unit leader is a ditz though. I could do without her.
Speaking of moving, I have narrowed down my list of towns I'd like to move to and have a general area I think will work best for our family.
Now to convince H which will take 3-4 years. Trust me.
The issue is that the schools here are wretched but just one town north has some of the best in the state. We have well over 5 years before she starts kindergarten but I would like to be settled for a few months first.

I think they should all have to sit in a room and talk. Just like on House. No joke, this is ridiculous.

How many other opinions did you seek? This is fucking nuts.

Seriously, are medical mediators a thing?
If not they should be. Someone get on that.
@sessalee we have seen two surgeons IRL and I think 3 are reviewing the films and records.
Can i just say that I am SO.JEALOUS of anyone who can build their own house. I dream of winning the lottery so we could afford to do it. I would be in heaven.
Is this different in Canada? We built our house, but we're not millionaires or anything. We could sell our house for more than our mortgage balance plus what we put down and still make a pretty decent profit.
We're in a suburb though so the price of the land is wrapped up in the mortgage.
I don't think its inherently different when you're talking about subdivision and having input (or outright control) of a new build. However, Canada as a whole is more expensive in the real estate deparentment than many LCOL places in the states.
H and I would love to buy a plot and build, but we need half a million to even consider it. Eta: and that's a very no frills, 1500 sq/ft-ish build.
Brie I am so sorry, what an absolute frigging mess. A medical mediator should totally be a thing! Hoping the remaining surgeons come back and at least agree with one of the current opinions instead of presenting any others!

omg. I'm so sorry! Was this the guy at the center in Dallas?
Are you prediabetic or do you have PCOS? I'd ask for a referral to an endocrinologist or RE.
PCOS
Fwiw, I do think metformin helped regulate my cycle. However, according to my RE, the most current research hasn't shown it to make a difference for women trying to become pregnant or maintain a pregnancy. Still, most OBs and some REs still routinely prescribe it to all PCOS patients with ovulation issues.
Hey t, I'm seeing Matt tomorrow night! Opening for Train so womp womp short playlist, but I'll take it.
I just saw he was in your city on Instagram and was wondering! He will be here at some point too, but I didn't get tix because of this whole newborn thing. Have fun! I'm jealous. And I'd probably leave after the opening act lol.
It's a terrible storm here right now and I'm wide awake, as is DD. Luckily DS is sleeping right thru it. We are under a tornado watch but luckily that hasn't become a warning.
OMG. If DS sleeps for much longer my boobs will explode.
A bit late now, but next try try some hand expression. I've found it can take the edge off, plus I'm building my freezer stash just a little. I should have done it last night but instead I fell asleep with a full left boob in the MOTN and woke up in a puddle because it got so big that it missed the breast pad and leaked everywhere.
Re: house buying, I sort of want to put our realtors on alert for an accessible house in our general area that is not geared for elderly people on the DL. Putting the cart before the horse here but P is going to have at least some mobility issues and our house is basically the least accessible house ever. I imagine there aren't many out there we'd be interested in so it might take awhile to find.
However, my H would think I'm being totally nuts for even thinking about this now. Hence the DL part.
I don't think you're crazy. My good friend growing up has CP and stairs were problematic for her. though at this point you don't know if you just need a house with one story or an elevator or a full on accessible house.
krystee, AJ's friends at the sitters were like that too-lots of "baby AJ is here!" and "bye, baby AJ!". And sometimes commenting to me about how big he was getting and how many teeth he had...it was adorable glad your little guy had a good day!

Brie, medical mediators are kind of a thing! My insurance has something called "health advocate" and one of their jobs is to help you with stuff like this. Have you asked your HR dept?
