How did you deal with a toddler that is still in a crib at home but too big for PNP while traveling? I'm debating getting an inflatable toddler cot and trying it out at home. This one

How old is your LO? My kids slept in PNPs until about 3 years old, and they aren't small kids. They just sort of crunched up. And, they could climb out, but not as easily as if they were in a bed, so it kept them better restrained.
My kids seem to like them. I like them because they are slim. Some hotel rooms we've stayed in don't have a lot of space. I can fit 2 cots + 2 sleeping bags in 1 (big) suitcase.

We have this toddler cot. He has used it a few times at my grandparents and my mom's and he does really well with it. We plan to take it with us on a few trips this summer as well.

DS is 2 years, 10 months and still sleeps in his crib at home. We stayed in a hotel a couple of weeks ago and I brought along a Regalo My Cot for him to sleep in. He slept fine in the cot and went back to sleeping in his crib at home with no problem.

We have the same one. DD could easily get on/off of it if she wanted to, but when she wakes up, she just sits there and calls for us to come get her.

We use a fold up nap mat with a toddler size sleeping bag. We used a PNP until 2+ and then switched to the mat. DD2 started waking herself up every time she moved and hit the sides of the PNP.

We have the lotus travel crib. We definitely need the containment, as she does not sleep as well while we travel and would wander off otherwise (she's young though--20 months). She's sleeping in it right now
