So glad it went well! Two of my favorite California friends are preschool moms. One of them has a magical unicorn family that meshes up so well with mine we hardly even need to interact with our kids (5 between us) on play dates. It's the dream.

There were like 18 times where I almost said, "Yeah, I have this friend whose kid <random anecdote/funny story>..."

But they were all "friends" from here and I had to stop myself lest she identify where my funny story about soandso's funny kid came from and put two and two together.
