Tell me about the 9-month growth spurt.

DD is just shy of 8.5 months, but I think we're in it.

Yesterday at daycare she had 3 jars of food, a few bites of table food, and 18 oz of breast milk. And they asked me to increase her bottles because she acted hungry all day long. 

At home she nurses every 2 hours, sometimes every hour, and eats 200-300 calories of solid food. It's 8 a.m. and she's already nursed three times and eaten a pouch, some cheerios, and some yogurt.

We're on Day 4 of this; we should be almost done, right? I feel like all I do is feed her.

I don't know if it was a growth spurt because we don't weight M that often, but he was eating and sleeping a TON around 9.5 months. He eats way more than 300 calories of solids most days...I would guess closer to 600 though it's hard to tell for sure. He isn't nursing that much any more, though (four short sessions a day).

Have you tried giving her regular table food? I'm wondering if the baby food isn't filling her up. We started feeding M three meals a day around 9mo.

Yes, at home we're at about 50/50 purees and table food, but for some reason she won't eat table food at daycare.

Is your DS still taking a lot of bottles at daycare? I keep hoping DD will decrease her bottles since it's hard for me to keep up with the 18 oz, but instead it seems like the opposite is happening. :/

He usually takes 15 oz at DC. (Almost all formula now since my pumping has gone to shit.) I'm assuming he eats less solid food at DC since he eats more formula than he would nurse at home.
