You know, I still don't understand why she got irritated by my posts. I said it would be hard for him to take more than two weeks off without them hiring a replacement (which wasn't on the table; he had to take vacation time) and that yeah it probably would affect his career if he tried to take more time. That is something we can't control. Sorry we're so unenlightened in NY. But I said multiple times that I think other people should do it if they have the option. What is wrong with that?

Umm...I found out SMIL thinks all moms should be SAHMs and just live in a smaller house, and that sheshe is "not a fan of women's lib".

That's not really drama here though...more like inevitable drama in my world the next time I get drunk enough to tell her what a horrible person she is. (the above is only the latest in a string of bullshit)
