Let's say you post a picture of you & your siblings on FB. Which is the proper way to state who is in the picture? (just a label, not a complete sentence)
A. If you remove 'Brother and sister' you would say "it's a picture of me", not "a picture of I". That's who I always test myself.
Additionally, I always use the Oxford comma so it would read "Brother, Sister, and Me" as opposed to sounding like "brother....sister and me". But my brother and I argue about the oxford comma use
non MM Mom stumbling in. I have to say I feel like it depends on what the structure of the sentence is.
are you saying "My Brother, Sister and I are in this picture." or "This is a picture of my brother, sister and me." I mean technically both are correct.....
ETA reading comprehension fail.. ill just scoot ... i vote B,s, and me
I don't think it has to be one way or the other. It's not a sentence, so the writer (and reader) are just imagining a sentence context for the list of individuals.
Of course you would say, "This is a picture of my sister and me."
But I would also say "In this picture, my sister and I are on the beach in Key West."
