I just did a major update of my LinkedIn profile. I know how to party on a Tuesday night, LOL. But I was missing descriptions for the last 3.5 years of work, so... it needed to be done. So many buzzwords. (I'm not job searching, but I am keeping my eyes open for more interesting opportunities within my current company, so I want my "diverse" experience information to be available should someone look at my profile.)
The exam is a different beast than others (I also test well). He needs to take a week boot camp, study for a weekend or two, then take the exam.
Maybe this would be a good thing to do early 2016 since we will have a NB in September.
Yeah he will need at least a week of sequestration to learn/study. It's a lot of info. I think the boot camp is 10 hour days. My workplace offers the boot camps on a semi-regular basis but always at the worst possible times - I've had it as a goal for years now. I've done other certs in the meantime. While he's waiting, he can document his experience and apply to PMI. They have to approve you to even take the exam. It's not difficult just a paper drill. PMI spends a lot of time up its own ass (which is another reason I'm avoiding it).
