Where does the hemline hit? At the knee or above? I'm wondering if I should order a regular or a tall. I'm 5'8".
Wait, are we talking about the LE one? If so, I feel like it's pretty conservative and hits at the knee. I have a long torso and am about 5'7. It runs large though, size down.
peggy the Ch.aps Knot-Front Empire Dress is awesome for pumping/nursing. There is a center panel which keeps the dress work appropriate. The panel pulls up so you can pump / nurse without taking the dress off. I have it in 3 colors.
I have it in plain black, orchid breeze, and one of the prints. I *love* these dresses. I wear them with flats but I'm 5'8" and heels are torture for my poor feet.
I don't have one of the A-line dresses, but I found the ponte sheath ran TTS. I think the issue for me with the fit and flare is just that it's so much fabric, I'm swimming in it (FWIW, I am currently wearing my "regular" size in the fit and flare at nearly 32 weeks pregnant).
This is my first LE purchase so I'm not sure. Sorry! I bought mine inside a Sears, is there anyway you can go try some on?
The closest Sears with a LE is about an hour away. I'm sure I'll make it over there someday, but I just ordered several online this past weekend. We will see how they are when I get them I guess!

This is the one I'm wearing today. It's a medium. I'm 5'10" and the picture was taken barefoot. I wear a 32g bra @peggyolson. This one the neckline is work appropriate the other one I have I put a cami underneath just for my comfort.
Can you pump/nurse in this dress? My summer work wardrobe is down to just a few peices because of pumping.
I don't have this particular dress but I have found it easier to pump with dresses that can zip from the back. I just strip down to the waist, lol. If I wear any other style, I risk either ripping it since I'm trying to put the sleeves back on too quickly or spilling something. I am a klutz though.
I have a few back zip dresses that I pump in, but sometimes I have a hard time reaching the back zipper. My dresses are all a little snug on me since having the baby. So far, I've had the best luck with stretchy scoop necks that I can just pull down.
Meanwhile, I have a scoop neck maxi on today with zero stretchability. Here's to hoping the building doesn't catch on fire, because my dress is gathered up around my head while I pump...if this won't force me to do laundry more often...
