I am putting in notice at my job tomorrow, yay! I am usually pretty casual I don't work in an office but am meeting my manager at a starbucks tomorrow to put in notice. Should I dress up? Wear a blazer? It is at 7:30am if that makes a difference. Also I am putting way too much thought into this...

Thanks! I am so excited. I have disliked my job for a while to I can't wait to be done with it! I have never quit a corporate job though, only from places where I scooped ice cream or waited tables.

You will have to write a resignation letter. Needless to say, the last one that I wrote, I was really tempted to write kiss my ass, fuckers at the bottom in super small letters...luckly, I restrained myself.
I pretty much cut and pasted my resignation letter from online. I kept it very short since the main reasons are prob things I shouldn't put in writing:) I am nervous but soo excited!

Good luck!
I know someone who spelled "FUCK YOU" out with the begining of each sentence. I helped, and it was hard to do. LOL!
:Y:
"From the time I started working here.... Unfortunately, blah blah blah nonsense... Come Monday, I will no longer...." or something like that. Hah!

It's so tempting but you are right. Things like that shouldn't be in writing. GL!
Was this from the Lily job or a different one? I'm glad it went well! I bet it's a huge relief.
It was from my full time job, I worked in pharma sales. I am going to be working at the boutique full time now and building their online store and doing some online marketing for them. My husbands job is then going to have us moving to LA most likely in the late fall. I was just unhappy and loved my part time gig so much I decided to go full time when the shop owner asked:)

Dh always dressed up for his office job. I think he wore a hockey jersey and a ball cap the day he resigned from that bc he was starting as a firefighter (what he really wanted to be doing.)
