Someone (multiple someones?) ordered planners off etsy that were similar to erin condren? Anyone know what I am talking about and can point me in the direction of the etsy shop??
Look at Plum Paper on Etsy and Inkwell Press on inkwellpress.com
Also, re: Plum Paper, the family planners look like a great idea, but everyone I know who orders them regrets it. Get the M/A/E or the blank layout, trust me.
literally the only person i know who still loves it. I'm in planner groups and everyone who gets it regrets eventually! I'm glad you still like it.
What do people dislike about it?
For me, I disliked how inflexible it was. And I'd often write one thing in one kid's slot, then accidentally schedule another thing in a different slot. Because it wasn't organized by time, I overscheduled.
I have the blank lines layout and I LOVE it. I use it as more of a to-do list and section off a few lines at the bottom for appointments.
I've already printed and bound my teacher planner for next year. I justified doing it so early by saying I needed it for notetaking last week at training I had.

See and I didn't love the one I got from you last year. IDK, but I need something different.

You clearly set it up wrong.
There are a few changes this year. I only have one prep next year (HOLLA!) so I only have one page per week with a to-do list, and I got rid of the notes box, and just have a column for plans, and a to-do list. The monthly calendar is one page with notes on the back, and added more "ideas for next year" pages, because I ran out this year.

Shut it. I have 3 very different preps, again, this year. Oh but wait, my "year" is really only 4 months...HOLLA!!

And really, where's the chat feature on here Mod?
lol. I have no idea. I'm the mod of a board that doesn't exist.
The only other time in my life I had one prep, I had 10 sections. (7th reading at VVM, you understand) Not only do I have one prep, I taught it this year. I'm not going to know what to do with myself.

I got the family planner one. The things I disliked were:
Too bulky. I wish it were smaller to fit in my purse more easily.
It was hard to write in one of the days (Wed or tues, I forget) because of where the spirals were.
Things I liked:
The month layout before the weekly layout.
Having slots for bills/dh/dd/etc. We aren't super busy so over scheduling wasn't an issue. And sometimes I write down stuff dh has going on even though it doesn't effect my day (ie leaving early, day off, etc).
It had my name on the front.
Plenty of room for writing.
It probably really depends what you use it for. I didn't order another when my year ran out.

Wed. It's easy if you fold the side around and write.
I need to know these planner groups you are in. Sounds right up my alley!
There are oodles, it's weird. I'm in Plum Paper Central and Plum Paper Fans. There are basically groups for every popular planner type (EC, PPP, Inkwell, Happy...)
