So, I received a message from a girl who disaffiliated from my sorority.
She did so in a blaze of crazy with an e mail accusing sisters of sending her threatening pages (yes, she had a pager, no I did not attend college in 1995) and stealing her boyfriend, amongst other things.
Anyway, she's asked me to write a recommendation to our national to support her petition to be re instated as alumni in good standing. You apparently need three of these letters to be considered.
Not sure why she chose to ask me as we haven't really talked since then (7 years?) except for she knows that perhaps my letter may carry weight since I am involved as a volunteer.
Ignore? Say no directly? Not sure why she even really wants this as alum status doesn't really get you much besides the opportunity to volunteer/ get your kid consideration as a legacy,or attend a meeting really not a big deal at this point in life. Wwyd?

I would probably just ignore it.
Very odd request. I'm Greek, involved in my alum group, etc - and I would find that quite odd and just ignore - i don't like to invite crazy into my life.
