I was going to say, all you people need to watch PBS and Create. Screw FN. Ming Tsai Sara Moulton Martin Yan - learn about Vietnam and he's (unintentionally?) hilarious with his passion for food America's Test Kitchen Cooks Country more
didn't know, but the show is Taste of Vietnam and he visits Vietnam in each episode, then goes back to his kitchen and cooks something related to what he saw in Vietnam.
I love House Hunters, and LOVE HH International. But it's like there are five random fucking Caribbean episodes to every one episode that's actually somewhere interesting.
I quit both HGTV and FN when they did nothing but show 'reality' crap. No thanks. H and I used to spend weekends watching those two networks. Neither of us can stand either channel anymore.

I love the PBS shows! ATK is the best (I have their Family Cookbook and it is one of my most used), even though the host makes me crazy.

The main guy? I interned at CI and he is pretty awkward. I walked into the walk-in when he was in it and he acted like a trapped cat trying to get past me to get out. It was hilarious and strange.

I know a lot of people don't like Rachael Ray, but I miss her "$40 a Day" show or whatever it was called. It would always be on around 2 am when I was in college and I would watch it lol. I like going out to eat and found it interesting to see what food money could get you in different places around the country.

I actually liked that show! I miss when Rachael Ray wasn't too fucking annoying to watch.

I loved that show! I was seriously bummed when they took it off the air. I loved seeing her eat at different restaurants for some reason.

You wanted scripted drama from HGTV? Maybe a police procedural where they investigate the style of the perps' houses?
Unpopular opinion: I don't mind Guy Fieri, and I like to go to places he visits.
He went to three or four of our favorite places. but watching him eat is disgusting, and he wouldn't eat scrapple at our favorite diner bc he's a big baby

I don't know why he just doesn't bother me. Maybe it's because I appreciate his show's scouting.

Also, you're clearly blind and deaf because he looks like an electrified porcupine with a trash compactor for a mouth and sounds like every really dumb guy you know who is also high on whipits.
After one of my surgeries, I had a lot of late night TV watching going on, normally around 2-4 am. FN was one of the few channels still showing episodes of shows t the time.

I loved it until I found out it was fake. :/
I actually knew it was fake before I ever even watched it, since someone on these boards was on HHI and reported all about it. Doesn't bother me.
Does anyone remember Ready, Set, Cook! and How To Boil Water? Those were my favorites back in the day. And Sara Moulton. She was great.
Two Hot Tamales ... I think that was their name. We loved them!
I was going to bring them up because they are my faves! I've been to Border Grill a ton, and Susan Feniger opened a restaurant near my house when I still lived in CA that was great.
Thankfully both have made the jump to Bravo/Top Chef Masters. Top Chef is my favorite.
I really, really love Ina Garten, though. I want to be her when I grow up.
