I really struggled with this after DD1 was born. Never got back into a great routine and I was a 3-4/weekly gym-goer prior to her birth. Now DD2 is here (almost 3 weeks old) and I'm back in the same situation. I actually quit the gym because we weren't using it.
My office is located in the middle of the township park, so I plan to walk 2-3x week on the trails there during lunch - 20ish minutes. I'd rather walk after work so I can go longer, but if I am realistic I know that I will never get myself out of the office on time in order to make that happen.
Aside from that, family walks when weather permits after work, and JM Yoga Meltdown since there's a bit of a cardio element to it.
Since I have 30ish pounds of baby weight to lose, I'm a bit more motivated than I was in maintenance mode.
Whenever DH is around if I can't get fit in a quick lunchtime yoga class (50 minutes) or run/gym break during the work day. So, typically, weekends are the only guarantee. But if DH had normal hours, I'd definitely do more working out in the evening and let him deal with bedtime or dinner prep.
I work Mon-Thurs, and go to the gym Mon-Fri, then usually one weekend day.
During the week my alarm goes off at 4:55am, I'm out of bed by 5am, in my gym clothes within minutes, and at the gym just as it opens at 5:15am.
I stop working out by 6:05-6:10am, hop in the shower, throw on jeans and a tee, makeup, then get in the car by 6:30-35am and arrive home juuust as the toddler and husband are waking up. (It's less than a 5 minute drive.)

I take walks on both of my breaks at work. I can squeeze in a mile each time. I try to get on the treadmill after DD goes to bed but that doesn't always happen. I'm trying to move around as much as possible throughout the day to make up for my lack of true exercise. Pinterest has a lot of great small workouts you can do like lunges and squats that can fit into your time. I do them while I watch tv!

On weekdays, usually I'm up at 4:45 am, so I can get at least an hour workout and still have us all out the door by 7:00. We bought home gym equipment years ago, so I don't have to trek to the gym or worry about childcare this way. DH travels for work at least half the month, so I can never count on him to be around to watch the kids.
Although, I definitely prefer to workout in the afternoon before I do daycare pick-up. This only works during the summer now, since I have long commute during the school year doing seperate pick-ups and drop-offs for both kids.
Weekends are whenever I can squeeze it in. Typically early before they wake up, or during naptime. The jogging stroller is a good option when they're young, and you have 2 children or less
I get up at 5:30 most mornings and do 50-1hr workout at home. I am out the door at 7:10. We have elliptical so I mix that in with Hiit, strength and tabata workouts. I also run a couple mornings. There is a ton of stuff on youtube that are only 20-30 minutes long that are great to get you started. I use to workout at lunch but it got to hard.
On the weekends I either run with M in the stroller or workout while he naps. In the winter we got to the gym Sat and Sunday morning. He calls it "gymschool".
You mentioned you like yoga. Jessicasmith TV has some yoga/barre workouts you can do within 30 minutes.
I force myself to do it after dinner/bedtime, so like 8pm.
I keep telling myself I am going to start going for a run first thing in the morning, but it hasn't happened yet. It doesn't help that H leaves at 6:15 so I would have to be back home by then.
I used to get up early and do a quickie workout before starting the day. Now that DD is going to camp earlier in the day, I drop her off and go for a walk.
I have two offices, one that is 15 minutes away that I am at most of the year and one that is an 1.5 hrs away that I am at 3 months in the winter. My schedule looks more like yours when I am further away. Those months, I get up at 5:00 am and either do a video or run 4 days per week. The gym is just too much added travel time.
The rest of the year I get up at 5:45 and do bootcamp 2xs per week and gym or run 3 days per week. I don't workout on the weekends unless I skip a day during the week.
If you figure it out, do tell me. I'm a member of the building gym, but can't figure out how to consistently get there. Sigh.
I am not even a member because I KNOW I won't use it. In fact, I've quit a gym before because I ran into my VP there once. No thanks! No one I work with needs to see me struggle like that!

This is definitely a valid concern. Also, they're incredibly inflexible with anything. I was signed up for the free personal training series and they moved around a couple sessions due to trainer scheduling issues, but when I asked (a week in advance) if I could reschedule a session, they said no, because their policy is they only reschedule due to their own errors/conflicts. Super helpful...
I get up at 5:05am and workout before anyone is up. If my H does not have to be in until after 6:30, I can go to a class outside the house. If he has to get to the hospital by 6-6:30 (usually 2-3x/week), I workout in our gym in the basement.
I also try to plank/do situps/etc. during the commercials if I am watching TV.
It is hard, and I often struggle with being too tired, and wanting to relax on the couch. I will try to fit one in early in the morning, even a 20 minute video works. Sometimes I go to a pilates class during lunch, or go in the evening after the kids are asleep (8-9). I definitely fit in a walk, run, etc during the weekend.
Maybe your husband could do dinner cleanup and bedtime a few days a week, so that you can fit it in? Start with 1 or 2 days a week, and see if it works for your schedule.
Meal planning also helps so that dinner is not too exhausting to plan and clean up.
I so any combo of mornings, lunch and evening. I just make it a prioritybecauseit makes me feel good about myself. I am also a firm believer if you hit it hard you don't need more than a half hour. Also I am s much nicer mom and wife when I am working out.
