I don't have any good pics on my phone, but here is DS1 "relaxing" in DH's 1966 Mustang in the garage. I think DS2 was napping and we needed DS1 out of our hair while we did some yard work or other project around the garage/yard. He was so excited to be able to sit in daddy's "fancy car" and play games.
DH has had the car for almost 14 years! We went to my Sr. Prom in it, lol.

My DH god rid of his 2001 mustang right before we had dd . We do still have his 64 1/2 in the garage that is no longer driven but he would like to work on again one day.
DH used to have a Honda S2000. I cried when we traded it in
My husband had one also. He totaled it on the way to my first OB appointment when I was pregnant with A. He was supposed to meet me at the dr. He was fine. The car was not.
I consider my 2005 G35 coupe a sports car (not mine in the actual photo). I am NOT a car person. It was my "I'm rich, bitch!" or, more realistically, "I got my 1st job and like to throw all my money away on material things!" purchase. I still drive it every day.

I had a 2004 Mustang that I loved! It was the 40th Anniversary special edition. But we sold it in 2010 when I was pregnant with DS1 in order to get a 4-door "family car". But at least we still have DH's '66. It runs on/off and work on it never happens as much as DH would like. But we do get to randomly drive it on date nights and stuff.

This makes me want to cry!
I had no idea so many people had S2000s on here. We don't see very many around!
wo years ago DH got a BMW 3 series coupe. We didn't need it, because we had a minivan and a pickup, but he wanted a car that was fun to drive. It's not a true sports car, but it handles well and has great pickup, and looks cute and sporty.
@mrsbecky, threads like this are why you see people making recommendations of high-priced items/services and saying it's "SO worth it."
everyone else, carry on!
LOL, we traded in our BMW for our Prius. I still miss that damn car.
We rented a Prius last weekend. Does that count? I was really confused about how we were supposed to charge the battery on a rental car, but the agency told us not to worry about it.

The plan was to keep it, and use my Matrix for schlepping kids around. We could have made it work. However, once he wrecked it we decided to get something more practical, and bought a Fit.

We sold ours when DH realized that it was going to sit more than it was going to be driven since we couldn't put a car seat in it. So sad

I have: 1960 VW Karmann Ghia and 1964 Triumph Spitfire
We have 10 cars... those are the only two "sporty" ones though. We also have a dune buggy, a 1957 Rag Top Bug, a 1973 full-convert blazer, A 1965 Ford F100, A 1998 Dodge 1500, A 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT (sort of sporty, she was my baby until I had a baby), A 2006 Chevy 2500 Diesel and A 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Don't get me started on our "other" motorized toys.

Thats awesome! Yeah my dh loved his car and now he has a nice family car, just not the same lol. I'm sure he will get another mustang someday after we don't have little ones.

We have a '90 and a '14 Mustang. Unfortunately, I haven't ridden in either since DD was born; I can't drive them (can't drive a stick), and no car seat will fit in the back. We need to get a babysitter so we can have a date night with the cars We are looking for the right classic, but we haven't found it yet. I am loving all the pictures in this post! One of my favorite things about summer in the Detroit area is all of the classic cars driving around.
My first car was a '95 mustang. I traded that in for a 2005. I loved both cars when I was single but we take lots of road trips and it just wasn't practical anymore. I miss them . I'd like to get another one someday.
