I am so, so sorry to see your update. I hope the surgery goes as smoothly as possible. Once everything calms down enough for you to think and process, I highly recommend finding a support group. I went to Gilda's Club when I had cancer (and for many years after), and it made a world of difference to talk to others who knew what I was going through. I'm sure talking to other parents in a similar situation could help. If there isn't a Gilda's nearby, see if your hospital has any recommendations. Big, big hugs.

I've been thinking about you guys all day. Are any of us near to you? Can we help in any way? Bring you food? Help with hotel/etc costs? Take care of pets?
This update is just awful. I am so sorry for everything you are going though now and in the road ahead. Just know that you will get through this and C is much stronger than you could have ever imagined.
Just take it day-by-day and remember he is still your baby. That has not changed. The wonderful, loveable child you had before is still there. Cancer will not change that.

We're in central CO. We just moved here about 6 weeks ago. No family nearby, but our Air Force family is taking wonderful care of us. We will probably have family fly out in a day or so when things settle down and we know moe about his treatment plan.

I'm so sorry Villain. And I'm grateful they are able to get his surgery in so quickly. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family, and can't wait to hear positive news soon.

Oh, I am so so sorry. My heart is breaking for you and your baby. I'm so glad the doctor caught it and they're being so fast and proactive. Huge hugs. Hoping for a fast recovery from surgery and good news regarding the mets.
