I know it's early but things book up fast here. I am just in consideration mode for now. First - party on October 31st (Saturday) in the morning. (11-2) - would you be busy on Halloween day due to Halloween events? Or would you love a distraction for your kids? Second - the one place can't guarantee nut free food. Our schools are all but free. Should I wait to see if any kids in her class are allergic ? or just say too bad so sad for that kid who may not even be her friend. They can't just skip cake or bring their own. The party is making a pizza. None of our friends kids are allergic but this year means school friends which opens up possibilities.
1 - a daytime b-day party on Halloween is fine. i've never heard of daytime Halloween events, TBH.
2- allergies - TRUST me, if any child you invite has allergies, the parents will either contact you to ask about food or they'll just automatically send their own. I wouldn't plan around something that you have no idea if it's an issue or not.
1- That would be fine. It is so early that it would not impact any of my events. 2- My son has peanut/tree nut allergies I would not trust the food there anyway and bring my own for him. He is used to eating a meal before we go and me having enough provisions and his treat with me.
1. we don't do anything during the day on 10/31 so that would be fine. 2. It would maybe be nice to include a note on the invite along the lines of "Please note that the party will include making food; we can not guarantee that the facility is nut-free" would be more than enough to allow parents to make their own decision to bring their kid.
