I enjoy the judicious use of hashtags. However, the #makingmemories makes me want to claw things.
I imagine the prologue of the hastag in question as someone being sat down and told "If you don't make a memory today, so help me God, I will cut you. "
:::Zips up flammable suit::: You asked, I am confessing.
My neighbor. I saw him come home in his very nice Dodge Challenger yesterday and I turned to Mr. P and said, "Isn't that car the wrong color?" Then I notice that it has temp tags. So he's certainly had the other one less than a year and now he has a new one? The part that really gets me...his wife and two small kids, probably 4 and 6, never-ever ride in it. When they go anywhere together (very rarely), it is always in the 4-door truck they have (it may be easier, obviously). The truck is nice but much older.
I don't like when people wear anything but flat sandals with maxi dresses.
But my wedges make the maxi dress more evening ready
I know your people think this, but NO lol!
I think even fancy maxis should be worn with fancy flat sandals. I just don't think it's a flattering look, it throws proportions our of whack to me.
At least this is a logical rationale, however--I don't know what to do with the people do this for the daytime. Don't even get me started on regular heels. Or maxis worn in the winter with boots, just kill me.

But I can't wear flats.
Well, just don't let me catch you walking around on your maxi dress day lolol.
Kidding. Mostly :^).
Eta - Ditto, @blissoff . Oh, speaking of, I read the last Marie Claire and thought of you because the #girlboss was in the issue at least 5 times. I wanted to throw the magazine across the room, but I was in the hair salon so that would probably not have gone over well.

So no heels, even for this dress:
Yep, I still have to say no. I just don't like the long of a long flowing dress (that's not an evening or wedding gown) with heels. I don't know, it just looks so off to me.
I'm judging one of my coworkers for being so lazy and not even caring to hide it. He spends all day in one of the following activities: 1-chatting in the office kitchen 2-surfing the internet 3-listening to the radio and laughing (very loudly) 4-sleeping in his chair

What about ballet flats? That's like my daily wardrobe.
Confession: I have rarely worn sandals this summer because I have been too lazy to make my feet look pretty.
Before I went in house, I was warned by several people that only downside of leaving biglaw to work at big company is that you won't believe how stupid and inept most people at large companies are. And, um... :-#
This SAHD I know who literally never leaves his house. I saw him recently and he said he literally had not left his house for 3 weeks.
I am irrationally angry over this. You are squandering your life away! Go to parks, go to the library, go on walks, make some friends, go to the pool, go to the gym, buy some groceries, lay in the grass, take your child into the sunlight, AHHH!!!
But he & his wife are in serious BEC territory for me for a million other reasons.

Better than wedges and heels...but only slightly.
You guys aren't supposed to judge me for my judgment !

That's what someone told me about finance too. I think of the idiots I have to deal with on a daily basis and then I think of how much worse it is at other places and I shudder.
My boss has a pretty high up job. She wears stripper shoes to the office. She thinks because she's 5'0 and they make her taller that it's okay but every day it's a new game for me of what will she wear to the office today. Even her casual tennis shoes have a wedge.

I should mention that one of the people who told me that was talking about her experience in-house at MS and Goldman
But I think it is very fair to assume that she was taking about non-bankers.
The people in my office are generally very smart. But I work in a small office that is a tiny corner of the company's business and it is kind of scary to see what the employee population at large is like :/

I'm silently judging my co-worker's relationship. She just got a promotion that many (and I of course) feel I should have gotten so she's already in BEC territory for me. Anyway, said promotion involves a decent amount of travel and she was saying today how she is looking into getting a house cleaner. Um, you're traveling 3 days a week, but are essentially off the other 4. It's just you and your boyfriend, WTF do you need a cleaner? She said he does nothing in terms of housework, yet she has been begging him for a ring for the past 2 years. No way in hell would I stand for that.

I LOVE hashtags. Way too much. I'm obsessed and I say so in my cover letter!
