muppetinma - I know Andrew has done many races. What is the usual distance? Are they straight line or around a path?
I'm very anxious about the kids dash that I signed Madison up for tomorrow. It's 550m and it's a park-like area. I'm worried she won't be able to finish and that she won't be able to follow the course. Words of wisdom?
My friend signed her daughter up, too, who is 6 months younger so maybe they will run together?
I had asked if she wanted to do this kids race and she said yes. She makes finish lines out of things around the house and runs and crosses them happily exclaiming, "I win!" I hope this isn't a disaster. Right after her race she has to get in her stroller and race with me.
Sorry! Just now seeing this! Andrew's races are usually just 50-100m in a straight line. BUT, he would easily and happily run the longer distance. He gets pissed that he's not allowed to run the mile with the big kids. I'm sure you'll be able to run with them if you need to.

Thanks. I know I could run with both of them but don't want to look like I'm forcing her to do it, KWIM? She is super excited. I hope it goes well. The only other one she did she was 18months old, it was 100m and she walked it. I don't want a repeat. PLUS, I need to line us both up (pushing her in the BOB) for my race right after hers. Too much stress!!!
