My son is 4.5 months old and sleeps really well in his Halo swaddles. But he's starting to break out:(.
I've not found anything that works as well. I have a zippedee zip, some other similar thing with zip off arms, and the Merlin suit I couldn't even get him inside it. Miracle blankets are too small to--he breaks his legs out.
What do I do? How do you transition babies? I need the little sleep I get.
We did it cold turkey the night she rolled over from back to belly and couldn't get back. It sucked, but I wasn't comfortable with her being swaddled and getting stuck on her stomach.

I think it was about 4.5 months that we cold turkey dropped the miracle blanket because he was also getting his feet out. We switched to the sleep sack and honestly it was a non-issue.
P started rolling onto her belly while swaddled about a month ago. I went cold turkey to a sleep sack, that was a huge nope. We then spent 2 weeks in a SwaddleUp, which she'd still roll over in but at least she could get herself back. That seemed to get her used to having access to her arms, then the sleep sack wasn't a big deal. She's now back to her normal STTN routine.
I think we went cold turkey as well. Has he gone through the 4MW yet? You could do it then since his sleep will probably be crappy.
I'm not sure. His schedule keeps changing every night for the past 2-3 weeks, but he's still sleeping pretty good? A few nights of up an hour or so where he can't sleep but eventually does.

We were using the swaddle sack for E until recently. He broke out a lot to suck on his hands. We did one arm out for probably less than a week, then arms out, and now just a sleeper. He did really well! The last couple nights he's been waking up a lot and fussing off and on but he's been really stuffy so that doesn't help.
