The housing market here is insane. We bought 2 years ago, a relatively cheap house. A house by the same builder on our street, with 600 less finished sq ft than our house, just sold for $50,000 over what we paid.
It really is so so crazy! That is why we decided to build. The market moves so fast and is so competitive. We would find a house we would want to buy and then it would be under contract right away. If you wait a couple of day from when its first listed, that's too late. I'm hoping the market keeps going up more and more since we don't plan on selling our current house until after we move to the one that won't be done until Feb. I'm hoping to make enough extra money to buy a ton of new furniture and put money back in savings.
What??? That's insane. I wouldn't think he would ever be taken seriously.
I know! He's actually gone up in the polls the last few weeks!
I honestly don't even know his stance on anything, but I wouldn't vote for him even if I agreed with him on everything politically because he seems like the biggest tool on earth.
How in the world is Trump currently polling second for the republican nomination?!
What??? That's insane. I wouldn't think he would ever be taken seriously.
I'm convinced that a large segment of voters have concluded the presidential race is actually just one more reality show, and select their candidate based on that premise.

As long as he doesn't win, Donald Trump running for president is awesome. It's such good comedic material! I am already excited for the SNL skits lol. Sarah Palin running for VP was comedy gold.
I feel like I've just entered a different realm of nerdy. I just made a pattern for my first go at making Patrick a medieval tunic. I'm going to practice with an old mint colored table cloth, lol.
dbe100408 they didn't have the sweater left, I'm sorry! I did check for you though. All I got was a sweater vest and cardigan for Luke. The sweater vest has a little elephant on it, adorable.
Now I'm enjoying an accidental double nap! This is a very rare and elusive treat. The only thing that would make it better would be a huge iced coffee.

Oh, and I've decided we are never getting rid of our crib. I just can't. It will be converted into this:
And then this:
I love that bench! Might have to try my hand at that. I'm not sentimental, but I love repurposing things and we wouldn't get much for our crib after 3 kids in it.
Ada has told me 3 days in a row she wants to be Cinderella for Halloween, is that enough times to start looking for a Cinderella pattern? One crappy thing about sewing her costume is if she changed her mind in October it would be too late for me to finish it.
I've been on the couch with W since 2:15 and it's almost 4:00. He was comfort nursing for a long time and just popped off to sleep. I'm hungry and I have to pee really bad!
Six meals' worth of meatballs, 4 meals' worth of meatloaf, and 8 cups of refried beans, all in the freezer. Now I just have to figure out how I want to do the chicken breast. Envy me, my friends; it's a fascinating life I'm leading.

I'm not sure what's up but I think D is having a hard time hearing? I can't 100% tell if it's an actual hearing problem or a 3yr old listening problem. But she's been having issues with ear infections the last month and at her check for pink eye they were infected but the dr didn't want to do more antibiotics unless it got worse.
Can ear infections cause hearing loss? I'm taking her in for an ear check either way but just curious if any one has experience
I failed all my hearing tests when I started school due to the fluid buildup from constant ear infections, but had a lot of improvement after tubes. It's definitely possible, but I hope it's only 3 year old selective hearing!
ladybug when we just had all of Luke's testing done the doctor said some kids and babies could have fluid retained from infections that could cause temporary hearig loss or eardrum damage and scarring if it ruptured.

Here they are! A little cardigan and the cutest elephant sweater vest! I love the buttons on the sweater.

We took her in and she has a slight infection (pink with some bulging) and fluid so that's what's causing it. She said just keep an eye on it for now. They don't really want to do antibiotics because she's already had 2 rounds in the last month (which I agree with but I also just want better!!)

A FB friend just had a baby a couple weeks ago, and she keeps ending all of her posts with '#breastfeeding'. I'm glad nursing is going well for her, but it doesn't really make sense to type:
"Just changed two poopy diapers in ten minutes. #breastfeeding."
I mean, my kids were formula fed and they shit a lot, too. Ha.
Oh FFS. I was cleaning up my living room and found an empty package of orbitz gum and 5 wrappers on the couch. A went into my purse, fished out half a package of gum, and ate the entire rest of the package. Besides freaking out over the choking risk, I'm pissed that there is yet another thing of mine that I must micro manage because of my 3 year old!
Despite W being off his schedule and extra clingy today, I'm feeling semi-successful. I got both boys and myself packed, dishwasher emptied, kitchen cleaned, and the boys bathed by myself. I had to delegate the lawn mowing and grocery shopping to FIL and H, but I'm ok with that. In the morning I'll just have to get groceries packed and last minute things together and we'll be good to go.
artgal84 I love those!! Did they have others at our J&J?
They had quite a bit and all the sale was an extra 15% off! They had lots of girl summer stuff, a small rack of holiday dresses for 20$ and a lot of boys clothes.
