I have lost about 20lbs in the past 6 months, which made some significant changes in my body. I am 5ft and carry my weight in my stomach. I have quite a few pairs of shorts and Capri's that are now way too big even with a belt. They are probably 3-4 sizes too big. We are planning on ttc #1 early next year and I can't decide if I should keep these around. I know that the question about keeping bigger bra's has been asked and most people on here say to hang on to them but I wasn't sure about the shorts and Capri's. I don't have a ton of storage space and none of these items were overly expensive. Should I hang onto this stuff or take it to Goodwill?
I'd donate. I lost 40lbs before getting pregnant and none of the clothes I held onto ended up fitting "right" while I was pregnant. It ended up being a waste of space.
If you have the storage space the clothes might be helpful during the post partum phase. Both pregnancies I gained a lot and lost it slooooowly. I had to go out and buy some clothes that fit after DD1 .

Donate and congrats! I had pants in a larger size I held onto, but they still didn't work out to wear in early pregnancy. They were just the wrong shape.
I'd agree w/the pp's and would probably donate: maternity stuff is shaped differently rather than being larger all over, so I'd guess your bigger things probably won't fit quite right.
